(Casey) Staton Eunice Lee (Casey) Stanton, 76, of Carrollton died Saturday, 12 Feb 1983 at Carroll County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Staton was born 31 May 1906 in Wakenda, the son of Jeff David and Hattie Thomas Stanton. He attended country schools near Wakenda. Mr. Staton farmed, was employed by the Wabash Railroad for 20 years and Banquet Foods for 9 years. He was a member of the Carrollton Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Daisy Wheeler Staton of the home, two sons, Robert L. Staton and Charles Staton, both of Carrollton, four daughters, Mrs. Juanita Kinder, Mrs. Mary Lou White, Mrs. Julie Smith all of Carrollton, MO and Mrs. Catherine Crump of Kansas City; a brother, Robert Staton of Carrollton, MO; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred.
