Carroll County, Missouri Obituary - Theodore F. Schroeder d. January 25, 1941 From the Moberly, Missouri, newspaper dated Monday, January 27, 1941 Submitted by Robert Schroeder 29 Dec 2008 "T. F. Schroeder, Near Clark, Dies; Funeral Tuesday" Clark, [Mo.] Jan. 27 [1941] -- Theodore F. Schroeder died Saturday afternoon at 5:30 at his home one and a half miles south of Clark. He had been in ill health for several months and became seriously ill a few weeks ago. Born in Breese, Ill., April 5, 1869, he came to Missouri in early manhood and had lived the past forty-five years in and near Clark. He at one time operated a harness shop in Clark. He was married to Miss Lucy Smith of Clark in 1898. To this union three children were born, one dying in infancy. A daughter, Mrs. Edward Roberts of Mexico, and a son, Carl, of the home, survive. His wife died Jan. 23, 1933. Mr. Schroeder is also survived by two brothers, Gus and Tom Schroeder, of Norborne, and by other relatives. He was a member of the Clark Methodist church and funeral services will be conducted there Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Mesche of the Clark Assembly of God church. Burial will be in Chapel Grove Cemetery.
