Wheeler, Levi Andrew - Obit



Levi Andrew Wheeler, 64, who for the past six months had resided at
704 East First St, passed away at the Staton Clinic in Carrollton, Monday
October 18, at 9:45 am. He had been in failing health for the past six
months. Deceased, the son of Levi W. and Martha J. (Long) Wheeler, was
born in Carroll Co, MO, 28 Feb 1879 and had spent the greater part of 
his life in and near Wakenda, where he had been engaged as a laborer. 
Besides his widow of the home, he is survived by a number of children, 
among whom two sons are members of the armed forces. Funeral services 
were held from Bethlehem church, Thursday at 2:30 pm, conducted by Rev. 
Hobbs. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
