November 14, 1995 Source: Obituary Local Newspaper Carrollton, MO 16 Nov 1995 Womack, James Richard - Obit Dake Womack, age 85, of Carrollton, died Nov 14, 1995, at the East Hill Health care Center. He was born Sep 2, 1910, in Wakenda, MO, the son of James Larkin and Lela Belle Adkins Womack. He attended Wakenda schools. He was a farmer and had worked at Butler Manufacturing until he was disabled in 1956. Survivors include a son, Leonard Dixson, Brookfield, MO; three daughters, Betty Simms, Carrollton, Patricia Bemboom, Marshall, MO, and Violet Jean Jerman, Garden Grove CA; two brothers, Bill Womack and Charles Womack, both of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Pauline (Pearl) Thate and Lou McCumber, both of Carrollton; eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, Nov 17, 1995, at the Gibson-Rice Funeral Home in Carrollton, conducted by Reverend Bert Hughes.
