Williams of the County of Carroll and State of Missouri make this my last will and testament and so by these presents constitute and appoint my true and trusty friend George Munro of the County of Livingston and State aforesaid my entire executor. First I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Nancy the following named and described property to wit: three head of horses, three head of cattle, four B[ush]shier sows, so much of the house hold and kitchen furniture as she said Nancy may think a sufficient for the comfort of the family also two hundred dollars which the executor is to purchase a small tract of land and have it improved to make the family comfortable and said land to revert _______ to the heirs at her death to said heirs all the remainder of the personal property to be sold at public auction except the slaves which is to be hired or kept by said Nancy my wife ______ to assist in raising said children the heirs of said Samuel H. Williams, the farm with __________ appurtenances to be rented annually and on the third to be paid over to said Nancy the remainder to be applied or so much of it as may be necessary for the tuition of _______ heirs and otherwise that may be of benefit to said heirs the real estate with all moneys and personal property to be an equal division made at such time the court having cognizance may deem necessary at the same time in a devi_____ of the slaves and said Nancy my wife to have one third during her natural life in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twelth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
