Finny Clk Will Book A Page 35 Feb 12 1849 *********************************************** WILL I Samuel Sharp of the County of Van Buren and State of Missouri, being of sound and disposable mind and memory, do hereby make my last will. I wish all my just debts paid, in order to do so, I wish my interest in the Mrs. Lyon's farm sold, also my Broadax, Cross Cut Saw, Prairie Plow etc, also, so much of my Stock, as can be best spared, and no more than is necessary, superadded to the debts due me to pay my above mentioned debts. All my real estate and the remainder of my personal property, I will to my wife Frances T. Sharp so long as she shall live in order to enable her to raise her family. In order to carry out the above mentioned will, I appoint my beloved wife Frances T. Sharp as Administratrix, and Joseph L. Maxwell as Administrator of this my last will and testament. W. Garrison and Fleming Harris who are both personally known to this court & Whereupon it is ordered by the Court that the said last will and testament be and the same is hereby confirmed and admitted to probate and letters testamentary with a copy of the will annexed granted to Joseph L. Maxwell & Frances Sharp. In testimony whereof I Hamilton Finny Clerk of said County Court have hereunto set my hand and seal of office at Harrisonville the 12th day of February AD 1849. Sharp deceased by his direction, that the said Saml Sharp deceased was then and there of sound mind and then and there declared and acknowledged the said instrument to be his last will and testament and acknowledged the signature thereto to be his.
