I see you have him listed as GIVIN, David S.
He is in three census of Cedar County Missouri. In 1870 he is listed
as David S. GWINN. In 1880 he is listed as David GUINN.
In 1900 he is listed as David S. GWIN.
This variation in spelling of the name is common in this family. His
monument in Wagoner Cemetery most likely reads GWIN.
