All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/mo/mofiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Linda Deppner http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00012.html#0002870 October 26, 2010, 1:01 am Written: May 20, 1866 Recorded: December 27, 1869 Cedar County, Missouri Deed Book H, page 389 Know all Men by these Presents, That I Mary Wilcox of the County of Cedar in the State of Missouri, have this day for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars to the said Mary Wilcox in hand paid by Harrison Swingle of the County of Cedar in the State of Missouri Granted, Bargained and Sold, and by these presents do Grant, Bargain and Sell unto the said Harrison Swingle all my right, title, interest and estate that I have as heir at law of John Swingle deceased, late of Cedar County Missouri in and to the following described tracts or parcels of land, situate in the County of [blank] in the State of Missouri, that is to say: The South Half of the North West Quarter and the South West qr. of the South West qr. of Section twenty four (24) & the South half of the North East qr. & the North East qr. of the North East qr. of Section Twenty three (23) and the South West qr. of the North West qr., all in Township thirty four (34) of Range twenty Six (26); also 2 acres commencing at the N.W. corner of the East half of Lot No. 2 of the North East qr. of Section three (3), T. 33, R. 26, thence South 30 rods, thence East 16 rods, thence North 30 rods, thence West, to the Beginning, containing in all (282) acres more or less. To have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining, unto the said Harrison Swingle his heirs and assigns, forever. I, the said Mary Wilcox hereby covenanting to and with the said Harrison Swingle his heirs and assigns, for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators, to warrant and defend the title to the premises hereby conveyed, against the claim of every person whatsoever. Be it remembered, that Mary Wilcox who is personally known to the undersigned, a Judge of the Probate Court within and for said County, to be the person whose name is subscribed to the foregoing Deed, as a party thereto, this day appeared before me, and acknowledged that she executed and delivered the same as her voluntary act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein contained.
