Wiley W. Hedgpeth born January 29, 1814, North Carolina, married Charlottie
Edwards, 1837, Giles Co., TN..  They came to Missouri in 1850, but first
show up on the 1860 Christian Co. Census in Porter Township, as having
children: Martha A, William P. Matilda, Mary J., James C., Francis N., John
W., Robert L., Millard. page 20.  In 1870 his family shows up on the
Christian Co. Federal Census after his wife died  April 28, 1865 in Nixa,
Porter Township, Christian Co. and he married Ruth Horn, Sept 20, 1865 in
Christian Co..  This census shows the children:  Robert, Mary, Millard,
Laura, Clarrell, William and John.   Wiley died October 31, 1870, Nixa,
Porter Township, Christian Co., MO..  He and his wife Charlottie are buried
in Payne Cemetery, Nixa, MO..
