Enters Into Rest
Solomon Jinkens, an old and highly respected citizen of Clark County, Mo. 
passed away last Sunday, May 8. Mr. Jinkens is one of the older residents of 
the community and his death removes one of the familiar characters from the 
neighborhood.  He was born in 1828 and was in his 83rd year when he died. The 
funeral was held from the Bethlehem Church in charch of Rev. L.Y. Cummings of 
Mt. Sterling, and the body laid to rest in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
wife was Christena M. Cackley Jinkens. Solomon was born in Jackson County, 
Ohio.
