Jeremiah Q. Adams, as Guardian and Curator of and estate of Samuel S. Cruse 
late minor, now adult child of John Cruse deceased makes this final Settlement, 
with the Clay County Court, on this June 1st 1869.

Dt.					Final Settlement
Accountant charges himself as follows viz:-

To amount received for rail road damages (without
Interest)						$50.00
To distributive share for sale of real estate		$216.60
  “          “         portion of assets                $36.65
					                $303.25
Ct.
Accountant claims  the following Credits:-
By error in addition of Debits and credits upon
     Settlement of 1868 $8.11 on credit side and
     $10.00 on Debit side making aggregate
     sum of $18.11 (see Settlement of April 6, 1868)
  “    Cash paid ward April 5/68        voucher A.	$36.65
  “     “     “    “   Fifty dollar         “   B.      $50.00
  “     “     “    “     $216.60 as per voucher C.	$216.60   
  “     “   retained by Sheriff ninety five dollars
	   with 1/3 of which ward is chargable
				         Voucher D.	$31.66
  “        “   paid Sheriff $13.50 not included in
	  this Settlement under previous voucher
	  as per Statement marked     voucher    E.
	  wards proportion being			$4.50
  “   Printers fee		   	 voucher F.	$3.50
  “   11 days services necessarily engaged in
       attending to business of ward @ 1.00 per
       diem				                $11.00
  “   Attorneys fee			 voucher G	$5.00
				                        $358.91


Total amount of Credits $358.91

 Amount due Guardian    $55.66
