State of Missouri	We Peter Writesman William Buxton and Isaac Brown swear 
County of Clay	        that we are not indebted nor kin to any person 
interested in the estate and we will well and truly without partiality or 
prejudice value and appraise the goods chattels and Personal Estate of John 
Cruse Dec’d as far as the same shall come to your sight and knowledge and that 
your will in all respects perform your duty as appraisers to the best of your 
skill and judgment.

	A full and perfect inventory of the goods chattels and personal Estate 
of John Crouse dec’d late of the county of Clay as presented to the undersigned 
Peter Writesman William Buxton and Isaac Brown appraisers appointed by the 
County Court of Said County by administratrix of said Estate this 6th day of 
June 1850.
