Reid, 2006 This Indenture made and entered into this Second day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and sixty seven by and between Susanna Jackson and Elias Jackson of the County of Clay and State of Missouri of the first part and Benedict J. Yates of the County of Clay and State of Missouri of the second part, Witnesseth: that said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents do give grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto said party of the second part and to their heirs and assigns forever, all their interest in three certain tracts pieces or parcels of land lying and being in the County of Clay and State of Missouri viz: One undivided sixth part (more or less) in and to the North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section No. Eleven (11) in Township No. fifty one (51) of Range No. Thirty (30) – Also the South West quarter of the South West quarter of same Section Township & quarter (sic), Also the South East quarter of the South West quarter of same Section township & Range, containing in all one hundred & thirty acres more or less, being the lands assigned to her Mother Margaret Yates (formerly Jackson) for life by decree of the Clay Circuit Court July 28th A.D. 1857, as reference to the record they will appear – the party of the first part, the said Susan Jackson & Elias Jackson (her husband) intend to convey to the party of the second part, whatever interest they may have in the dower lands aforesaid assigned to her mother by such decree, they as one of the heirs of said John Cruse deceased owning one undivided sixth. To have and to hold the said interest in said three tracts pieces or parcels of land with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of them the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever, and the said party of the first part for himself his heirs executors and administrators covenant and agree to and with the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns undivided one sixth interest in said the said tracts pieces or parcels of land and bargained premises every part and parcel thereof unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns against all manner of claims will warrant and forever defend the same by these presents.
