Campbell. - Died, at her home in Clay county, Missouri, Dec. 15, 1879, in the 60th year of her age, Mrs. Mary, wife of Samuel Campbell, and sister of Mr. Zatu Todd. The subject of this notice was born in Howard county, Mo.; in 1822 her parents, who were Kentuckians, moved to Clay county; Jan, 24th, 1839, she was married to Samuel Campbell, who is still living. Sister Campbell was baptized in 1853, by Elder Moses E. Lard, of the Christian Church, and was a faithful member of the antioch congregation from its organization till she went home to Heaven. She left five children, (all member of the Church), four sons and one daughter, the wife of J.C. Evans, and seven grand-children, whom she loved very dearly. The dear mother was buried on the birthday of her youngest child, Caldwell, now absent in Kentucky. The deceased had been a patient sufferer for years. She said to her daughter a few days before she died, "The will of the Lord be done." She died as she had lived, a Christian. Sister Campbell was a faithful wife, a devoted mother, a good neighbor, and a true friend. "Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord." J. W. W.
