Keifer - At Kansas City, MO. July 10, 1898 of Bright's disease, Mr. Henry
Keifer, aged 73 years. Mr. Keifer was a former well-known and highly
respected citizen of this place, moving to Kansas City several years ago.
He was the father of Mrs. Butler Talbott and Mr. J. H. Keifer, of this
city, and of Mrs. C. M. Boyd and Miss Lula Keifer, of Kansas City. Also,
of Fredrick and Jacob F., deceased. Joseph C. and Frank L. Keifer. These
with his devoted wife are left to mourn his loss. His remains were brought
to this city. Rev. W. I. Cole officiating at the grave, after which he was
laid to rest in Machpelah. A good man has gone to rest.
