Dec 10, 1882 Mar 14, 1883 Daughter of James & Maria E. McCann Additional Comments: James McCann is also buried here but his tombstone was apparently removed by McCann descendants to the Woodland Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri in the 1970s. Mary Ann's birth and death info was supposed to have been added to this tombstone at that time. When this cemetery was restored in 2004 by the Berry Family and a group of Cole County Old Cemetery restoration volunteers, Mary Ann McCann's tombstone was discovered half-buried in the ground and reset. Milly Isom was born Camilla Ann Berry. Her husband Richard Isom may also be buried in this cemetery altho no headstone was found. Apparently Richard was also deceased before 1860 as their surviving children were living with Milly's family on the 1860 census: Sarah b. ca 1852 and John b. ca 1853 with John & Nancy Berry; Lewis Clark b. ca 1857 with Milly's brother Lewis Clark Berry. A small stone base was found indicating a grave but no matching headstone was found. (This may be grave of Minnie Philips-d/o W. P. and Arizona Philips; d. Aug 22, 1878; age 5 days-as listed in the "Cemeteries in Cole County, Missouri as recorded in the 1930s-Part 1 listed under "Burying ground on the Old John Berry Farm". This book also states "....which included more Berrys and Isoms than listed above as well as tree-to-five young McCann grandchildren." There are verses transcribed on the tombstones of Mary Ann McCann and Myrtle L. McCann. Mary Ann "Polly" McCann's maiden name was Duvall.
