Villages of Crawford County, Missouri - CZAR The Czar post office, located in the southeastern part of Crawford County, was established about 1900. The name of only one postmaster is known. The place never became very prominent in Crawford County history. In the thirties Sherman Barr operated a large store and was postmaster also. The store burned and the post office was closed. ------ CRAWFORD COUNTY AND CUBA MISSOURI James Ira Breuer, 1972 p. 113 ==================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
