Crawford County, Missouri Pensions - Silas H. Wilson Date: Wed, 23 July 2003 12:01:26 -0800 From: "Nettie Grimes" Silas Harrison Wilson (son of Aquilla Willson and Lucinda Brickey) is buried at Steelville Cemetery. He died in Steelville, Crawford County, on Dec. 23, 1919. Both his first wife (Margaret Anna Compton) and second wife (Annie Montgomery) had died Aquilla Willson (NC) and Lucinda Brickey (TN) married in Washington Co., MO on Dec. 12, 1825. Her father Jeremiah Brickey gave his consent. Her mother was Frances North. Aquilla and Lucinda lived next door to her parents on the 1830 Washington Co. Census and they then all moved into Crawford County, MO. We have land records for two parcels of land in Crawford County near the village of Huzzah for Aquilla Willson in 1834 and 1837. They had a large family and one of their sons (Silas Harrison Wilson) is in my direct line. Aquilla Willson died and Lucinda then married 2. Tompkins Odle, and 3. Henry Morris Toadvine. Lucinda is buried at Lost Creek Church in Washington County, MO. She has many descendants in the Crawford and Washington County area.
