He will be executed on the 13th of November (1851). His defence [sic] was conducted by Judge Hunt and Sideny Wood, Esq, and the prosecution by A. W. Lamb, Esq., Circuit Attorney. He is very young, not more than 16, is intelligent and remarkable for his mechanical skill. He is now engaged in making a willow fruit basket for the Circuit Attorney, as a token, as he says, of his “distinguished consideration.” Additional Comments: This is related to the death row inmate, Isaac (slave) who was executed in Nov 1851 (some show 14 and some show 13 Nov 1851).
