Nick proudly served in the United States Army. He was a loving devoted father who enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his children and family. Nick enjoyed baseball, hockey, and football at Ft. Zumwalt South High School. He is survived by his wife, Toni Gregory; parents, Tim and Linda Gregory; children, Caden, Ryker and Ares; siblings, Michelle, Shaun, Tim Jr., Michael and Travis; other relatives and friends. Shelia Marie Laird Shelia Marie Laird of Sullivan, Missouri was born on June 25, 1954 at Salem, Missouri to Clinton and Arzella (Walford) Howell and passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the age of 61 years. She was raised in High Ridge, Missouri and graduated from Francis Howell High School. On July 1, 1972 she was united in marriage to Ronnie Laird at Valley Park, Missouri. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Bluegrass. She was baptized in the Pentecostal faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her mother, Arzella Howell. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Laird of Sullivan, Missouri; children, Jennifer Lauth and husband Brian of Owensville, Missouri, Rhonda Webb of Sullivan, Michael, Kayla and Ethan Laird of Sullivan, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tyler Cody, Kelston and Karis Webb, all of Sullivan, Missouri; one great grandchild, Charlee Rae-Nichole Cody; her father, Clinton Howell of Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Phyllis Stracke and husband Steven of Ballwin, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2015 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Bourbon, Missouri with Pastor Ed Carter officiating. Betty Jane Sterling Betty Jane Sterling (nee Simpson) of Steelville, Missouri was born on Tuesday, September 9, 1941 in Cherryville, Missouri to John Thomas Simpson and Arnetti Lillie Oxendine Simpson and passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 in Rolla, MO at the age of 74 years, 3 months, and 16 days. Betty was a loving homemaker and enjoyed picking blackberries, hunting mushrooms, hunting and even cutting cordwood. Betty was a hard worker and in addition to being a home maker she at one time, worked at Brown Shoe Company, poured concrete and helped in setting up swimming pools. She liked listening to fiddle music and working puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Hunter Ferges; brothers, Joseph Simpson, Dennis Simpson, Dale Simpson and Johnny Simpson; sister, Ruby Christisen. She is survived by her children, John (Becky) Hollinsworth Sr. of Licking, Missouri, Lillie (friend Jody) Ferges of Cuba, Missouri, Moses (fiancˇ Erica) Sterling and Zachary Sterling all of Steelville, Missouri; sister, Margaret "Ruth" (Elgie) Hill of Cuba, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Lizzy Simpson of Cuba, Missouri, Debbie Simpson of Owensville, Missouri and Nina Simpson of Sullivan, Missouri; brother-in-law, David Christisen of Cuba, Missouri; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lonnie Dale Thompson Lonnie Dale Thompson of Cadet, Missouri was born on July 29, 1962 to James Henry Thompson and LaVerne Wilkerson and passed away on December 17, 2015 at the St. Luke's Hospital having reached the age of 53 years, four months, and 18 days. In addition to his parents, Lonnie is preceded in death by his sister, Janet Boyer; brother-in-law, Christopher Eaves; and nephew, Michael Eric Boyer. He is survived by his son, Cody Eye and wife Angela of Steelville, Missouri; two daughters, Chelsea Thompson of California and Katrina Price and husband Casey of Potosi, Missouri; step-mother, Diana Thompson of Festus, Missouri; three sisters, Debbie Eckhoff, Jamie Eaves, and Theresa Thompson and Dennis Farris, all of Potosi, Missouri; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
