Bernice was united in marriage to Elmer L. Brand on June 25, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. She retired after many years of dedicated service from Bi-State Transit in St. Louis. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments and Tonka Trucks. In the summer months she loved to cut grass and garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mina Luster; husband, Elmer L. Brand; three brothers, Harold, Bob and Charlie Luster; and three sisters, Margaret Simmons, Irene Payne and Jeanette Hawes. She is survived by her two children, Robert L. Bob married Janet Pratt on June 15, 1957 at St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two children were born. Bob started his working career at the age of 16. He went to work in the factory of Missouri Pipe Fitting Company and he left from there in 1976 In 1976 Bob moved his family to Leasburg, Missouri and they purchased the Leasburg Market. They owned and operated the market on and off till 1997. Bob also owned the Radio Shack in Cuba from 1984 until he truly retired in 2003. After retiring Bob spent hours watching Fox News, the St. Louis Cardinals baseball, Rams football and the court case shows. Judith known to most as "Judy" was married Merl Eugene Hollandsworth on June 8, 1963 and to this union two children came were born. Judy was a faithful Christian, visiting many churches through the years. She had worked outside the home at various jobs. She had worked at Craig Automotive as a bookkeeper and worked in home health care. She had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, baking, painting, coloring and various other crafts. Feeding and watching the birds was a favorite pastime. Matthew accepted the Lord in his life under the influence of the late Rev. Delmar Hutson and was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. He liked hunting, fishing, guns, horseback riding and working on the farm. Irene Verlee Washburn Irene Verlee Washburn of St. James, Missouri was born April 1, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Wayman and Blanche (Spurlin) Feeler and passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Irene married Robert Washburn. Irene worked for California Manufacturing for many years as a sewing machine operator. After the factories all moved out she went to work as a cashier in the gas station and convenience stores. Irene enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. She always set out a big garden in the spring, getting out weeding and hoeing was never a job, she enjoyed the work that she put into the garden, most importantly she enjoyed reaping the harvest which she readily shared with family, friends and neighbors. She worked endless hours freezing and canning what she could, she made jams, jellies, and applesauce for use in the winter months. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayman and Blanche Feeler; husband, Robert Washburn in 2008; and daughter Mitzie Cruse. Juanita Whitman Juanita (Pryor) Whitman of Salem, Missouri was born on September 4, 1928 in Boss, Missouri to Fred and Nancy (Hinsen) Pryor and passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Juanita was the youngest child, she always seemed to be the wisest, the one that looked after the family, and was truly the glue that kept the family together. Juanita told stories about her family and she usually had you crying from laughter. She was also a good listener. Juanita could be a little stubborn at times, but in a non-combative way. She always made everyone feel welcome in her home and was often teased about having a revolving door. Juanita was an inspiration for so many people, she lost her children at young ages and when asked how could she go on she replied "what other choice do I have?" She was generous, to a fault, with her time, and her money. She was always loving and kind, a true role model of how we should all live our lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Nancy Pryor; three sons, Ronald Whitman, Michael Whitman and Scott Whitman; brothers, Waldron Pryor, Raymond Pryor, Pete Pryor; one infant brother; and sister, Ada Gray. On February 27, 1988 he married Terri M. (Sullivan) Yates in Kenai, Alaska. Johnny was a 1984 graduate of Rolla High School. Johnny loved to hunt and fish and was an avid wrestling fan.
