(Pharis) Bouse, Sr. and passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan at the age of 69 years. Fred worked many years for Wilson Construction and West Contracting. He enjoyed working on old cars and trucks, watching wrestling and spending time with his family and friends. Fred is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harry P. Bouse, Jr. and Russell Bouse. Anita Kay Korver Anita Kay Korver of Sullivan, Missouri, was born in Akron, Ohio and passed away at her home on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 26 days. She was raised in Cuba, Missouri and attended Cuba High School. She later attained an Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy. For a time she was employed at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.   Anita was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sullivan Fire Protection District.  She, at one time, was also a firefighter for the District.  Anita loved bingo, traveling and riding the motorcycle with her husband, and was an avid reader.   She was a member of the Salem Faith Assembly of God.   On March 1, 1980 she was united in marriage to Mark W. Korver in Pembroke, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Mark Korver of the family home; two daughters, Yvette Losier and husband JP of Round Rock, Texas and Lisa Nunnemaker and husband Paul of Hermann, Missouri; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. Mary Lou Martin Mary Lou Martin of Cuba, Missouri was born Tuesday, April 9, 1932 at Centralia, Oklahoma to the union of Wesley and May (nee Moor) Nivens and left from this life on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Maries Manor in Vienna, Missouri at the age of 81 years. Mary was united in marriage to Ivan D. Martin on September 30, 1950 at Ferguson, Missouri and to this union two sons were born, Dale and Patrick. Mary worked as an office manager for M. Walter Roofing in St. Louis for nearly twenty years before they moved to Cuba in the early 1970’s. Mary was a member of the Rolla Bible Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and spent hours reading. In their younger years they did a lot of camping and traveling. Mary watched “Murder She Wrote,” “Matlock,” “Perry Mason” and “Iron Side,” she always liked a good mystery. Many years ago she watched “The Secret Storm” and later “As The World Turns.” Mary spent hours with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren spoiling each of them. She grew up in St. James, Missouri. She was the youngest daughter of seven children. She married Kevin Scott on June 13, 1992 in Farmington, Missouri and they lived on their farm near Irondale, Missouri. Leita graduated as salutatorian from St. James High School in 1980 and the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1985 with degrees in Animal Science and Economics. As avid horse enthusiast, she was active in 4-H as a child and was a horse trainer as an adult. She enjoyed showing horses, rodeoing, and team roping with her husband. Leita spread her love of horses by teaching others how to ride through Faith Cowboy Church and the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland. Chris was united in marriage to Jay Smith on February 14, 1997 at Steelville, Missouri. She worked for many years as a Home Health Care Aid and attended the Evangelical Holiness Church of Cuba. Beverly married Dave Sterling on June 18, 1977 and to this union one daughter was born. She worked in the heel cover department at Brown Shoe Company for several years. Beverly liked hummingbirds and she enjoyed gardening, hiking, photography and collecting rocks. She had fond memories of participating in the 4-H Club years ago and was a member of First Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri. Jim, as he was known by his family and friends, was united in marriage to Ramona Messick on June 29, 1963 and to this union four children were born.   Jim was employed 34 years with the Crawford Electric Co-op and took an early retirement due to ill health.  He was a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church of Sullivan where he devoted himself as an Elder, Sunday school superintendent and youth leader.  Jim enjoyed gardening and deer hunting, tinkering with things and working with his hands. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Emily Susnic; a brother, Blasé Susnic, Jr.; and a sister, Carol Squires. She was a registered nurse. She had been married to J.D. Swain, who survives.
