Anne Denison
Anne Marie Denison, nee Donnelly, of Davisville,
Missouri was born on Saturday, April 17, 1954 in Seaview, Washington
to James Buck Donnelly and Pearl Mattie Orander Donnelly. She passed
away on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at the age of 51 years, 8 months
and 18 days from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Anne married Dennis Denison on March 17, 1999 in
Portland, Oregon and made their home in Davisville for the past
year. She was employed as a certified nurse assistant at Gibbs Care
Center. Her hobbies were knitting, working on the computer, and
raising their pets. Most of all, Anne was a loving wife, mother and
grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother Pearl Donnelly.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband
Dennis Denison of the home; daughter Tammy Dyer of Viburnum,
Missouri; son Charles Triplett of Florida; father James Donnelly and
wife Patricia of Seaview, Washington; brother Michael Donnelly and
wife Mary Ellen of Aurora, Oregon.
Step mother-in-law Marlene Denison of Ontario, Oregon;
brothers and sisters-in-law Vern Denison of Lewiston, Idaho, Glen
Denison of California, Tonya Holts and husband Tim of Waitsberg,
Washington, Rachel Denison and Kristi Denison of Ontario, Oregon;
six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, January 13, 2006 at
2 p.m. at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri with Brother
Bill Mathis officiating.
All arrangements were under the direction of Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Francis C. Ellebracht
Francis C. Ellebracht of Steelville, Missouri was born
in St. Louis, Missouri on Tuesday, October 9, 1928 to Frank
Ellebracht and Adelaide Hellweg Ellebracht. He passed away on
Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 30
days.
Francis was active in his church and also loved to read
the newspaper and watch Cardinal baseball.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty
Ellebracht; brothers and sisters Joan and Art Schmidt, Marie and
Lawrence Hemple, Joe Ellebracht, Alois Ellebracht, Father Tony
Ellebracht, Gene Ellebracht, Kenneth and Alice Ellebracht; and
brother-in-law Bob Smith.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his brother
Paul Ellebracht and wife Louise of St. Ann, Missouri; sisters-in-law
Frances Smith of Steelville, Missouri; Dorothy Ellebracht of St.
Louis, Missouri and Dorothy "Dot" Ellebracht of Spanish Lake,
Missouri; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, January 10, 2006 from 6-8 p.m.
at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral mass was Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at 10 a.m.
at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Steelville, Missouri with Father
James Finder officiating. Burial was at Holy Cross Cemetery, Cuba,
Missouri.
All arrangements were under the direction of Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Vernon "Leroy" Farrar
Vernon "Leroy" Farrar of Steelville, Missouri was born
on Wednesday, October 25, 1939 in Elayer, Missouri to Carol "Robin"
Henry Farrar and Verna Berniece Brand Farrar. He passed away at
Phelps County Regional Medical Center on Thursday, January 5, 2006
at the age of 66 years, 2 months, and 11 days.
Leroy was a well-known river guide for tourists in the
area. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing basketball and
baseball. He especially loved coaching youth in basketball at
school. He had been active in church work as a Sunday School teacher
and most recently attended the Faith Pentecostal Church, in
Steelville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers
Phillip Farrar Sr. and Carol Farrar Jr.

Cheryl Harris and husband Deryl of Steelville, Missouri, and Patty
Farrar Cannon of Caseyville, Illinois; nephews Phillip Farrar, Jr.
of Steelville, Missouri, Allen Farrar and wife Julie of Cuba,
Missouri, Patrick Farrar of Bourbon, Missouri, Roger Farrar of
Mobile, Alabama, Michael Farrar, Gregory Farrar, Jeff Farrar and
wife Jane all of Collinsville, Illinois; and sister-in-law Polly
Farrar of Collinsville, Illinois; cousins and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, January 8, 2006 from 4-8 p.m. at
Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral services were Monday, January 9, 2006 at 11 a.m.
at Hutson Funeral Home. Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Marvin
Callahan and Deryl Harris officiating.
Burial was at Brown Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri with
pallbearers Bobby Harris, Brad Harris, Logan Eaton, Lucas Harmon,
George Brasher, Brandon French, Frank Pearman, and Justin Ogle.

Jesse Lee Gann Sr.
Jesse Lee Gann, Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born November
2, 1957 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of William and Nadine
(nee Bertrum) Gann and left from this life on Tuesday, January 10,
2006 at Olympia Field, Illinois the age of 48 years 2 months and 8
days.
Jesse was united in marriage on December 10, 1976 at
Cuba to Geraldine Bridgeman and to this union three son were born;
Jesse Lee Jr., Timmy Ray and Bradley Mikel Gann.
Jesse was a truck owner/operator for 21 years. He
attended Trinity Pentecostal Church in Leasburg, Missouri. Jesse
enjoyed hunting, playing his guitar and being an auctioneer.
Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, one brother
William Eugene Gann, father-in-law Jess Bridgeman and other
relatives.
Jesse was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son,
brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend and will be deeply
missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those who survive to mourn his passing are his loving
wife Geraldine; three sons, Jesse Lee Jr., Timmy Ray and Bradley
Mikel Gann; two brothers, John and wife Judy Gann and Edward Phillip
and wife Sharon Gann. Three sisters, Loraine Ann and husband Gary
Reeves, Diana Sue and husband Jim Messner and Dorothy Louise and
husband Joe Ray Bridgeman. Three grandchildren, Dalton, Lauren and
Arianna; mother-in-law Mary Bridgeman; many brother and
sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, January 13 from 6-9 p.m. at
Britton Funeral Home, Cuba. Funeral service was held 11 a.m.
Saturday, January 14 at Britton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard
Martin officiating. Burial followed at Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba.

Gary Glaser
Gary Neil Glaser, 59, of Owensville, Missouri passed
away Monday, January 2, 2006 at his home after a long battle with
pancreatic cancer.
Gary was born on December 2, 1946 in Washington,
Missouri to the late Martin and Alma Koepke Glaser. He married
Marilyn Jane Bacon on November 29, 1969 at St. John's United Church
of Christ in Bem, Missouri.
He served in the Army Reserves for eight years. He
worked as a meat cutter at Grannemann's IGA in Owensville for 21
years. He then worked as a production supervisor for Pauwel's
Transformers in Washington, Missouri.
He was a member of the St. John's United Church of
Christ at Bem and belonged to the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge
#878 of Owensville and the American Legion Post #0587 of Rosebud,
Missouri and the Masonic Lodge #624 of Owensville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew, Tony
Glaser; a niece, Tracy Glaser and his parents-in-law, Harold and
Mildred Bacon.
Surviving him are his wife, Marilyn, their children
Rhonda Glaser and friend Melissa Burnett of Springfield and Gary
Glaser and fiancée Dyana Wildebrandt and her daughters Brooke and
Taylor, all of Owensville, Missouri; his granddaughter Carsen Glaser
of Springfield, Missouri.
Brother, Leland Glaser and wife Ellie of Mole Creek,
Tasmania, Australia; his sister, Glenda Key and husband Leonard of
Sullivan, Missouri.
Four brothers-in-law, Harold Russell Bacon Jr. and wife
Sharon, Roger Bacon and wife Shelia, all of Owensville, Missouri;
Ronnie Bacon and wife Bonnie of Cuba, Missouri and Daren Bacon and
wife Cheryl of Belle, Missouri. One sister-in-law, Janet Bossaller
and friend Charlie of Rolla, Missouri; seven nephews, seven nieces
and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7, 2006 at
the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, Missouri with Rev.
Hal Landwehr officiating.
Burial was in the St. John's United Church of Christ
Cemetery at Bem, Missouri.
James S. Loveless Sr.
James S. Loveless Sr. passed away Wednesday, December
21, 2005.
Beloved father of Alisha (John) Mize of Arnold,
Missouri, Jamie (Torey) Miller of Cherryville, Missouri, Amy
Loveless of Crystal City, Missouri and James Loveless Jr. of
Barnhart, Missouri.
Dear grandfather of Kayla Mize, Jason Loveless, Katelyn
Legens, Dallas and Tori Miller. Dear son of Betty and Arvid
Berberich and the late James Brice Loveless. Brother of Elaine
Johnson, Larry Loveless, Gary Loveless and Bev (Tony) Pusateri.
Stepbrother of Bob (Patty) Berberich and Dennis (Linda) Berberich.
Special friend of Donna Stukenbroeker of Arnold,
Missouri, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral services were Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the
Kutis South County Chapel, St. Louis, Missouri.
Interment was in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery, St. Louis,
Missouri.
Eugene Morre
Eugene Albert Morre, 82, of Hermann, Missouri, passed
away Friday, December 23, 2006 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center,
Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Eugene was born on April 28, 1923 in Drake, Missouri to
the late Albert and Emma Hesemann Morre. He served his country in
the U.S. Army during World War II. On November 27, 1944 he married
Ellene Adams in Wellsville, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverley Wert; a
brother, Lester Morre and two sisters, Ruth Engelbrecht and Bernice
Barton.
Surviving him are his wife, Ellene; two daughters,
Janette Rosson and husband Doug of Owensville, Missouri and Terri
Hilkerbaumer and husband Richard of Union, Missouri; son-in-law,
Lloyd Wert of Centralia, Illinois; four grandchildren and four great
grandsons.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at
Zoar Methodist Church at Drake, Missouri with Pastor Bill Hafley
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Gottenstroeter
Funeral Home, Owensville, Missouri.
Roy Francis Mudd
Roy Francis Mudd of Cuba, Missouri was born February 20,
1925 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the union of Robert Mudd and
Mary (nee Collier) Mudd and left from this life on Sunday, January
15, 2006 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 80 years, 10 months and 26
days.
Roy retired from Schwieder Ford in Steelville, Missouri
as Parts and Service Manager. After retirement he worked at the
Wagon Wheel Motel with friends Wayne Roberts and Pauline and Harold
Armstrong.
Roy lived in Cuba for 42 years. He enjoyed gardening,
his black Lab, driving around in his convertible and an occasional
cold beverage.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Mary
Mudd; one brother, Omar Mudd and one sister, Virginia Kohnz.
Those who survive to mourn his passing are his three
daughters, Gail Ann Arnold, Kathy (Richard) Burroughs and Laurie
(Richard) VanBuren; one brother, Maurice Mudd; four grandchildren,
James (Leanne) Arnold, Matthew (Elisha) Arnold, Kyle (Kasi) Burroghs
and Jonathon VanBuren; two great grandchildren, Caroline Arnold and
Bryce Burroghs, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, January 16, 2006 from 5-8
p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral Mass was
celebrated Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Sts. Peter and Paul
Catholic Church in Waterloo, Illinois.
Interment followed in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery,
Waterloo, Illinois.
Billie Louis Stevson
Billie Louis Stevson of Cuba, Missouri was born August 6, 1922
in Senath, Missouri to the union of Clinton Wallace and
Leona (nee Phillips) Stevson and left from this life on Tuesday,
January 10, 2006 at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 4 days at his
residence.
Bill was united in marriage to Madeline "Mackie" Gibson
on May 23, 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Bill retired from McDonnell Douglas as a factory manager
in 1983 after 39 years of dedication. He and Mackie then moved to
Cuba (Indian Hills) where they enjoyed their retirement. He enjoyed
playing golf and fishing. He was a member of the Cuba United
Methodist Church and a former member of the Cuba Lions Club.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his first
wife; two sisters, Loraine Coley and Ruby Shannon; one grandson,
Gary Stevson and other relatives.
Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great
grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and a good friends to many. He
will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those who survive to mourn his passing are his loving
wife Mackie; three sons, William and wife Diane Stevson, Robert and
wife Gloria Stevson and James Coleman; one daughter, Toni
Coleman-Strutz.
One sister, Virginia Brown; four grandchildren, Clinton
Wallace Stevson, Mark Stevson, Erica and husband Joel Strutz-Pucket,
Alex Strutz. One great grandson, Robert Gary Stevson and several
nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Friday, January 13, 2006 from 5-8
p.m. at the Britton Funeral home, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14,
2006 at the Britton Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Lathum
officiating. Burial followed at the Steelville Cemetery, Steelville,
Missouri.
Thurston M. Worley
Thurston M. Worley of Steelville, Missouri was born on
Monday, August 11, 1913 in Cherryville, Missouri to Charles J.
Worley and Bessie Eaton Worley. He passed away in Steelville,
Missouri on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at the age of 92 years, 4
months and 30 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother
Thurman Worley.
Those who remain his passing are his daughters Betty J.
Frink and husband Michael of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives
and friends.
Private family funeral services were held on Thursday,
January 12, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville,
Missouri with Father John Wetmore officiating. Burial was at St.
Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Tipton, Illinois.
All arrangements were under the direction of Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
