He worked in St. Louis, Missouri for the Local 396 Iron Workers Union. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Canaday; and a brother, Scott Canaday. He is survived by his mother, Velma Canaday of Hermann, Missouri; son, Marcus Canaday of Texas; brother, Steve Canaday and wife Laurie of Hermann, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Davis of St. James, Missouri was born in Phelps County, Missouri on March 26, 1923 to John and Elsie Maxwell and passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. Lorean was united in marriage to Raymond S. Davis in February, 1942 in Rolla, Missouri and to this union six children were born. Lorean was a member of the High Gate Baptist Church for many years and at the present time a member of the St. James Baptist Church. Lorean's first job was as an office worker at a shoe factory in Rolla, Missouri. After their marriage they moved to the St. Louis, Missouri area. Following that they were involved in family businesses, first farming then charcoal kilns. Lorean taught an adult Sunday school class for several years in St. James Baptist Church. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking and tending to her many flowerbeds. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie Maxwell; husband of 61 years; and sisters, Marianna Honse, and Fern Lewis. She is survived by three sons, Ronald and wife Stella of Cropwell, Alabama, Kenneth and wife Joyce of Salem, Missouri and Larry and wife Gloria of St. James, Missouri; three daughters, Carol Molchan and husband John of St. James, Missouri, Marilyn Mullins and husband Randy of Rolla, Missouri and Sharon Laurie of Jefferson City, Missouri; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandsons; other relatives and friends. Cheryl Anne Harris Cheryl Anne Harris of St. James, formerly of Steelville, Missouri was born on March 3, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri to James and Shirley Midyette Harris and passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 56 years. She was united in marriage to Tom Reed and to this union one daughter was born. She loved lying by the pool, swimming, floating, the sun, watching TV, shopping and going out to eat and family vacations. She loved and cherished the time with her daughter Tera, Jeff and Sassy. Cheryl attended the Living Word Church of Leasburg. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Harris; brother, Scott Harris; and brother-in-law, Harvey Walsh. Darlene was raised in the Keysville, Cherryville and Steelville area. She graduated from the Cherryville High School. Darlene was united in marriage to Dwight Harris on April 12, 1963 and to this union three children were born. Darlene spent her life taking care of her home and family. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, working on family genealogy and collecting stamps. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Dorothy Trinkler; husband, Dwight; one sister, Bertha Hutson; one brother, Charles "Sonny" Trinkler and one grandson, Jeffery D. Harris, II. Joseph Henry Licklider Joseph Henry Licklider of Cuba, Missouri was born May 8, 1939 at Jakes Prairie, Missouri to Leslie E. and Pearl Gertrude (nee Shoemate) Licklider and passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the age 75 years. Joe married Lucy A. Mason on July 8, 1961 at Cuba, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Joe served in the United States Navy from 1959 until 1964 where he served as a dental assistant. After the Navy Joe went to work for MoDOT and retired in April of 1999 after 35 years of dedicated service. Joe was a lifetime member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Jakes Prairie, Missouri. Joe spent many hours building and painting his model trains and airplanes. He enjoyed going to the river to camp and canoe. After retirement Joe took care of his cows, tractors and of course his precious truck. Joe was an avid WWII history buff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Pearl Licklider; and one brother, Don Licklider. Fred Pinkston Fred Pinkston of Cuba, Missouri was born to Herman and Ethel (Archambo) Pinkston on January 24, 1927 in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri and passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Fred retired from Pea Ridge Mines as a Millwright. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of American Legion Post #456 in Leasburg, Missouri. Fred enjoyed being with his family and playing his guitar, mandolin and the dobro. In his spare time he liked to go fishing, hunting, camping, watching sports and cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ethel Pinkston; one daughter, Linda DeClue; one son, Michael Beeman; one grand- daughter, Sarah Hamilton; one son-in-law, Jim Strosnider; two brothers, Linn and Raymond Pinkston; one sister, Jean Gifford. Martha Ann Ruder Martha Ann Ruder of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Kirkwood, Missouri was born December 22, 1924 in Kirkwood, Missouri to Joseph R. and Meta Bollifer Blanner and passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 90 years and 27 days. In the year 1947 in Kirkwood, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Mitchell Ruder. Martha was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Kirkwood, Missouri. She enjoyed china painting during her spare time. In 2008, she moved to Steelville, Missouri from Kirkwood to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Meta Blanner; her husband, Charles Ruder in 2002; two brothers, George and Joseph Blanner; and two sisters, Marie Mottert and Gertrude Boazek. She is survived by her two sons, David Ruder and wife Karen and Donald Ruder all of Steelville, Missouri; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Ruder; other relatives and friends.
