Bequette of St. James, Missouri was born in Granite City, Illinois on November 6, 1940 to Franklin and Vivian (Clutts) Smoot and passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at home at the age of 73 years. She was united in marriage to Richard W. Bequette Sr. and they were blessed with three children. They made their home in St. Louis, Missouri for several years, he worked building ships and she for the most part stayed home raising their three children; Evelyn was an amazing mother and grandmother and loved to cook and entertain especially during the holidays. Evelyn enjoyed music, dancing, and watching Cardinal baseball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Vivian Smoot; husband, Richard Bequette Sr.; sisters, Virginia Brown, Janet Hunt and Martha Leeper.   She is survived by her children, Donald Bequette and wife Edith of St. James, Missouri, Cathy Ferguson of St. James, Missouri, and Richard Bequette Jr. and wife Rebecca of California; sister, Joann Alexander and husband Alan of Illinois; grandchildren, Joseph Bequette, Angela Streit and husband J. Dennis Wayne Britton, Sr. Dennis Britton, Sr. of Sullivan, Missouri was born on July 29, 1960 to Junior and Seline (Copland) Britton in Steelville, Missouri and passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the age of 53 years, 5 months and 20 days. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the VFW Post 3987 in Sullivan, Missouri and the Eagles Aerie 3781 also of Sullivan.  He worked most of his life as an installer for HVAC systems and of late at Aerofil Technology as a gashouse operator.   Dennis enjoyed working with his hands and was especially adept at woodworking. He loved to go fishing, hunting and camping and going to karaoke with his friends. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior and Seline Britton; two sisters, Elsie Brake and Patricia Mastin; and a dear friend, Varble “Bo” Parsons. Thomas Andrew Burnett Thomas Andrew Burnett of Bourbon, Missouri was born at Sullivan, Missouri on March 2, 1957 to Edith L. (Richters) and Melvin E. Burnett and passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 14 days. He was a life-long resident of Bourbon, Missouri and a graduate of Bourbon High School, Class of 1975.  Tom then attended the St. Louis College of Pharmacy where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology.   Tom later purchased and operated Bourbon Drug.   He was married at one time to Sherri Beeman and after their divorce was married to Jenit VanDyke.   Tom had a big heart and helped many people in that his many acts of kindness no one knew about.  He enjoyed floating and camping, and appreciated guns and swords, medieval and military history.  Tom loved his dog “Laird” and was a man who marched to the beat of his own drum.   Tom was a member of Sullivan Masonic Lodge #69.  Masonry was dear to his heart and he himself was a third generation Mason.  He was Past Master of the Sullivan Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason and District Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin; and a brother-in-law, Gary Cunningham. Linda Faye Coffman Linda Faye Coffman was born January 24, 1955 to Ernest and Helen   (Rhinehart) Gibbs at Rolla, Missouri and passed away January 22, 2014 at her home in Salem, Missouri at the age of 58 years. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church in Salem and loved camping, bird watching, fishing, wine tasting and doing anything outdoors. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Gibbs and sister-in-law, Jane Gibbs. Margaret “Louise” Crider Margaret Louise Crider of Cuba, Missouri was born Thursday, September 25, 1958 at Carmi, Illinois to Charles Dempsey and Mildred “Jackie” (nee Vincent) Wells and passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Cuba, Missouri at the age of 55 years. Louise worked as a floor worker for many years and for the last eight years she worked for Ozark Mountain Technologies Inc. in Cuba, Missouri until her health required that she leave in October of 2013. Louise enjoyed collecting antiques of all kinds, old cook books and even had her own recipes that she had written down years ago. She enjoyed cooking, baking pies and especially family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Dempsey and Jackie Wells; brother, Roger E. Wells; and niece, Candice L. White. Richard Elwood Domeyer Richard Elwood Domeyer of Salem, Missouri was born September 2, 1925 in Rock Falls, Illinois to Carl Peter and Juanita Wike Domeyer and passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the age of 88 years. In 1947 in Moline, Illinois, he was united in marriage to Janice Guldenzopf and to this union four children were born.   After the death of his wife, Rick married Opal Marie Haas Bennett December 26, 1986 in Salem, Missouri. Rick served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Seaman first class/pilot during WWII. He worked for over 41 years as an over the road truck driver for Dohrn Transfer and retired in 1984. He then worked a few years at the U.S. Forestry Service and part-time at Roberts-Judson Lumber Company in Salem, Missouri. He loved to fly, build airplanes and travel to fly-ins all over the country. In later years, he operated an aircraft restoration shop called “Hanger 5” at the Salem Airport. His motto was “we mend broken airplanes.” Rick was a member of the Teamsters in Rock Island, Illinois, a founding and lifetime member of the Antique Aircraft Association in Blaksburg, Iowa and a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. He and Opal traveled to many places and enjoyed square dancing on the weekends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Juanita Domeyer; his wife, Janice; and one granddaughter, Jana. James served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He married Mary Margaret Elliston on August 19, 1968 in Cuba, Missouri and to this union four sons were born. James worked many years for Halbert Construction, Steelville, Missouri. He attended the Church of God, Cherryville, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crafts, playing game Cube, watching movies and especially liked visiting with folks. Tuffy was united in marriage to Margaret Schwirtz and to this union one son was born. Working in the timber industry his entire life, Tuffy was able to combine his love for the outdoors while taking care of his family; he loved to hunt and enjoyed going to shooting matches. He was also very mechanically inclined, so working on cars and trucks was like a hobby to Tuffy. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed yard sales and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and William Sr.; wife, Margaret; and son, David Pitts. Riley, nee Elatico, was born on Tuesday, May 18, 1937 in Tamuning, Guam to Juan Alcaide and Tomasa Rojas Mafnas Elatico and passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 3 days. Magdalena attended St. Frances Elementary School and graduated from George Washington High School in Guam. She had technical training in computer technology. In her early years, she was an archer, played softball, enjoyed roller skating and dancing. She loved animals, gardening, sewing, drawing and working with pottery and ceramics. She married Richard Gustave Brauner of Nahant, Massachusetts and to this union two children were born. They also adopted their nephew, Paul Vincent Brauner and raised him as their own son. She especially loved children and was a surrogate grandmother to many children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Tomasa Elatico; son, Gustave Brauner; sister, Cresencia Villanueva; brother, Pedro Mafnas Elatico; brothers-in-law, Damasino Honorario and Jesus Meno. Lawrence attended Davisville Grade School and helped his dad who had a garage and service station.  He later left for St. Louis and worked for Hussman Refrigerator and Southwest Steel for many years and retired in 1996. He married Bonnie (Earney) Stephens on November 22, 2004. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, listening to music, watching Cardinal games and traveling. Lawrence was a collector of Hot Wheels, toy cars, trucks and Coca Cola items. He loved attending church at Davisville Assembly of God.
