Jimmie Francis Beebe of Bourbon, Missouri was born June 26, 1933 in Sardis, Oklahoma to Judge Lee and Bertha Lucinda (Smith) Beebe and passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 86 years. He married Doretta Ellen Bacon on September 27, 1951. Rev. Beebe began his ministry of God's Word in 1966 and continued until his health became too much. He ministered all over Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri, holding revivals, children's crusades, and pastoring churches. Rev. Beebe enjoyed singing, spreading God's Word, reading his Bible, baseball, woodworking, fishing, coaching little league and working at the Assembly of God youth camp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge Lee and Bertha Beebe; grandparents; two brothers, Billy and David Beebe; and one granddaughter, Brandy Beebe. Betty Jo Brewer Betty Jo Brewer of St. James, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, Missouri, was born Wednesday, December 24, 1941 in rural Crawford County, Missouri to Theodore and Beulah (nee Mason) Chandler and passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Betty married Lawrence Brewer on April 27, 1958 at Cuba, Missouri. Betty worked for Brown Shoe Company in Owensville, Missouri and then transferred to Brown Shoe in Steelville, Missouri. She retired, after 23 years of dedicated service, when Brown Shoe closed. She then went to work in the kitchen at Cuba Manor and worked there until Lawrence's health began to decline and she stayed home to take care of him. She enjoyed working in the yard, mowing grass, taking care of her flowers and growing a beautiful garden. Betty treasured the times she got to spend taking walks at Maramec Spring. Betty loved being outdoors and going hunting with Lawrence. She never missed an episode of Hee Haw. Richard Lee Broyles Richard Lee Broyles of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Iowa Park, Texas, was born on Tuesday, April 28, 1925 at Wichita Falls, Texas to George D. and Willie Lorene (Matthis) Broyles and passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the age of 94 years. Richard married Doris P. Frost on January 12, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Richard honorably served in the United States Navy during WWII, aboard the U.S.S. Wyman in the South Pacific. He retired as a Field Representative from RCA Service Company, after 31 years of dedicated service. Richard was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Iowa Park, Texas. After moving to Cuba, Missouri he attended the First Baptist Church of Cuba and enjoyed spending time at the Cuba Senior Center. Micky graduated from Steelville High School. She married Donald Franklin Cooper. Micky attended Missionary Baptist Church when she was younger and accepted the Lord early in life. She spent most of her life as a factory worker. She enjoyed to sew, play cards and scrabble and to watch TV. She was preceded in death by her parents, Landis K. Parker Sr. and Eva Irene Parker; brothers, Irvin Parker, Bob Parker, Eddie Parker and infant stillborn brother, Landis; sister, Dixie (Phillip) Farrar; and nephew, Bo Farrar. He married Gloria Moehlmann on July 20, 1962. John was an entomologist, which is the study of insects. He owned and operated Eagle Pest Control company in St. Louis, Missouri for many years and worked for McCloud Pest Control Company before retiring. He served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1960. He was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign War and volunteered at the Missouri Veterans Home for several years along with delivered meals to seniors in St. James, Missouri. He loved the outdoors. Along with hunting and fishing he loved to travel to the Smoky Mountains, sometimes more than once in a years time. Mae enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, singing, taking photographs and playing Scrabble. He was raised by his parents, Janet Miller, Butch Hunter, and Jim and Shannon Heinle. He grew up and attended school in Sullivan, Missouri and graduated from Sullivan High School in 2005. Jarrod entered the U.S. Air Force and served his country for nearly three years until he was honorably discharged. Jarrod married Brandi Barnett on October 20, 2018. At his young age, Jarrod did many work-related things in life. Over the years, Jarrod enjoyed working with his dad, Jim. Recently, he became an apprentice lineman and was employed by IBEW Local 2. Jarrod loved his job and was proud of achieving a lineman status. Jarrod's fantasy was to live "off the grid" and he was always thrilled with the idea of surviving in nature. He attended grade school in Leasburg, Missouri and high school in Bourbon, Missouri graduating with the class of 1966. Just out of high school, Richard was employed by Steelweld Equipment in St. Clair, Missouri. He honorably served his country in the United States Army with the 90th Replacement Battalion in Vietnam. In 1973, Richard went to work for the Chrysler Corporation and remained there for 31 years, retiring in 2004. After retirement, Richard and Becky enjoyed traveling and spending time together. First and foremost, he was a man of God. Richard was a member of Full Gospel Assembly of God in Sullivan, Missouri and served as a Deacon, as well as many other areas of the church. Outside of church, Richard's hobbies included hunting and fishing, working in his yard, going to yard sales and spending time with his family. Bob married Cathy Reiner on February 19, 2000. Bob spent nearly 20 years working as a lineman. He worked for Schatz and then Charter. He had to retire, when his health began to decline. In his younger years, Bob won several trophies in horseback riding. He spent hours playing the guitar and singing. He would stop at every yard sale, because he was looking for antiques and a good deal. He could do auto body work, wore a million-dollar smile and he was always funny. On August 29, 1987 he married Donna McEwen in Union, Missouri. As a young man he started a career in the construction business as a carpenter working for his fathers' company. Later he struck out on his own and started his own company, Russell Construction. Michael was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing the rivers for catfish, crappie and bass. He liked to barbeque for family and friends and make gifts out of wood he crafted by hand. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Russell; and one sister, Gail Burdette. Mason Jay Alan Smith Mason Jay Alan Smith of Bourbon, Missouri was born March 20, 1998 in Rolla, Missouri to Jason Smith and Mandy Walbrecht and passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the age of 21 years. He grew up and attended school in Bourbon, Missouri, graduating from Bourbon High in 2016. Mason began working at an early age. Throughout high school, he was employed with Steak 'n Shake in Sullivan, Missouri and in the summer time he enjoyed his lawn mowing business. After graduation, Mason attended Rolla Technical Institute. In 2018 he graduated with an HVAC certification and began working as an apprentice. Most recently, he had been working construction with his soon-to-be brother-in-law, Nathan Labbee. Mason loved riding ATVs and dirt bikes. He was a huge fan of the outdoors and enjoyed camping. He was fond of listening to his music and had a hidden talent for drawing pictures. Mason was a member of First Baptist Church of Bourbon, Missouri and was baptized there. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William "Bill" Walbrecht and Tex Smith; and cousin, Blake Smith. On April 28, 1956 she married Glen Oscar Stahlman. Phyllis was a Christian, having been raised in the Baptist faith. She enjoyed attending First Baptist Church in St. Clair, Missouri when her health allowed. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, doing crafts of various sorts, especially ceramics and decorating her home for the holidays. She was a talented seamstress in her younger years.
