She married James Frederick Black. Mary was a telephone operator with United Telephone for over 20 years and a hospital volunteer for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Grace Ennis; husband, James; brother, Leo and two sisters, Loretta and Aggie. Roger Dale Boyer Roger Dale Boyer of Bourbon, Missouri was born at Richwoods, Missouri on March 5, 1950 to Walter Henry and Bessie Bernice (Thurmond) Boyer and passed away on Monday, January 23, 2012 at the age of 61 years. He was raised in the Washington County area and was a driver for Havin Materal Company for 20 years.  Rogre later drove for Siedhoff Distributing for eight years before retiring due to ill health. On August 16, 1974 he was united in marriage to Anna May Eldridge at St. Clair, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting but most of all loved his grand- children dearly. Roger was fond of gardening and tinkering with things. He was a youth minister and dedicated bus driver for the bus ministry. He and Anna attended New Hope of Life Church. He is survived by his wife Anna May of the family home; one son, James Curtis Boyer and wife Laurie of Bourbon, Missouri; two daughters, Scarlett May Windle and husband David of Bourbon, Missouri and Phillina Ann Jarvis and husband Nathan of Ft. (nee Beaver) Caldwell and passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 82 years. Barb was united in marriage to Paul E. Killeen on February 13, 1950 at Cuba, Missouri and four sons were born to this union. Barb graduated in 1948 from Potosi High School, attended college in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and became a one-room schoolteacher. She then went on to graduated from Excel Beauty School in Rolla, Missouri in 1965 and was a beautician until 1979 when she attended and graduated from Nursing School in Rolla, Missouri. Barb worked as a nurse from 1979 until 1991 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center. Barb also sold Tupperware and Sarah Coventry Jewelry during the 1960’s. She was a member of the Cuba Church of Christ, the “Lunch Bunch” and the “Three Mile Extension Club”. In her spare time she enjoyed collecting everything, traveling and decorating cakes. Wilber proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years, after which he spent the rest of his working career working in the construction field, a trade which he truly enjoyed; he was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. James; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, but spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. James Charles Klocke James Charles Klocke of Bourbon, Missouri was born in St. Louis on August 31, 1955, to Charles and Vema Klocke and Mary Summers and passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 56 years. He made public confession of his faith in Christ thought the Rite of Confirmation at Concordia Lutheran Church, Bourbon, Missouri. Jim grew up in Bourbon until joining the United States Army on August 31, 1972.He served seven years of active duty including additional service in the Army Reserves beginning in1979 and ending in 1993. His active service included two long tours, one with the 1st Infantry Division (the Big Red One) in Germany and one with the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. During his service he received three Army Good Conduct Medals, the Korean Defense Medal, the National Defense Medal, and the Manchu Medallion for his participation in Operation Paul Bunyan in Korea. He attained the rank of sergeant in the 2nd Infantry Division. Jim was a jack of all trades, but his passion was social work in area nursing homes. He enjoyed all things collectable, the beauty of antiques and NASCAR. Jim loved the outdoors, going on walks with his children, and hunting and fishing with his dad. He was a lover of history, philosophy, and learning. Jim was a member of the American Legion and the VFW, a musician with an abiding love for the Beatles. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vema Klocke; his step-father, Gene Summers, and brother, James Summers. Sally spent her life in the Steelville area. She attended the Steelville Schools and graduated from the Steelville High School in 1976. Sally had attended the Faith Pentecostal Assembly Church in Steelville. She developed a love for writing and expressed her talent in many epistles. She loved the open spaces and spent several years traveling throughout the states driving an “Eighteen Wheeler” transport truck. Sally greatly enjoyed working in all crafts and created token gift packs each holiday season for her neighbors at Steelville Homes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Violet Luhring; maternal grandparents, May and Milford Schoen and paternal grandparents, John and Clara Luhring. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Judith Ellen Hassler on September 22, 1978 in Hillsboro, Missouri. He worked previously for Ace Rockwell Manufacturing in Sullivan, Missouri as a shipping clerk for 15 years. His hobbies were playing his guitar, gardening, riding his 4-wheeler and watching football and baseball games. Robert “Bob” Earl Sullivan Robert “Bob” Earl Sullivan of Steelville, Missouri, was born December 6, 1926 in St. Louis, Missouri to Earl R. and Sylvia Isabelle Matthews Sullivan and passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 18 days. Bob grew up in the Tower Grove Park area of St. Louis, Missouri. He worked as a massage therapist and then later moved to Southern California where he was a security guard for Rockwell International for several years. He also worked for the Fire Department in California. After retirement and some traveling, he moved back to Missouri in the late 1990’s. He also served his county in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1944 until 1946. Bob always enjoyed taking rides with his friends and going out for a hamburger. He attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and loved all of his friends there who became his family. He will be missed by the congregation and all of his friends at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Sylvia Sullivan; and one sister Marian Sue Brown and husband LeRoy. Donald was a retired truck driver having driven for several companies over the years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, having received five Bronze Stars. He also was a member of the American Legion Post #456 and the Leasburg and Cuba Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed tools and was a handy mechanic for family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Marie Vaughn; two sisters, Gerri Facsett and Imogene Gottel. On September 2, 1950, she was united in marriage to Buddy Woods. Billy “Bill” Eugene Yocom Billy “Bill” Eugene Yocom of Davisville, Missouri was born January 25, 1923 in Grove, Oklahoma to Clarence Edward and Evelyn Fay Witty Yocom and passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 89 years. On December 19, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, he was united in marriage to Willa Mae McCann. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1944 to 1946. He was involved in farming for many years. He was a board of director on the Steelville Telephone, a member of the American Dairy Association and a member of the American Legion #601 at Davisville. He also served as President of the Show-Me State Heritage Association and served on the board of the C-4 Iron County Schools. Throughout his life, he enjoyed woodworking, sketching and pencil drawing along with oil painting for his past time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Evelyn Yocom; his wife, Willa Mae in 2009; one brother, Joseph Clinton Yocom and wife Faye; and aunt, Juanita Leick.
