Roger Lee Farrar Roger Lee Farrar of Cuba, Missouri was born on Tuesday, September 22, 1964 in Sullivan, Missouri to Albert Lee and Mae Bernice Harris Farrar and passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the age of 51 years, 4 months and 8 days. Roger worked more than 20 years as plant manager at Industrial Wire Products in Sullivan, Missouri. He most recently was employed as a supervisor at Versa Tags Industry in Cuba, Missouri. His hobbies were fishing, gardening, spending time outdoors and competing in turkey calling competitions. Roger was known as a stellar drummer. He played drums with various groups and was previously a drummer at Covenant of Praise Church of God in Cuba, where he was a member. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hughes. Bonnie Lee Immekus Bonnie Lee (Jost) Immekus of Sullivan, Missouri was born on January 1, 1942 at Sullivan, Missouri to Louie and Eva Maud (Schults) Jost and passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the age of 74 years. She grew up in the Strain/Japan, Missouri area. On December 5, 1958 was united in marriage to Charles R. Immekus, Sr. at St. James, Missouri. Bonnie was a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, loved all animals and crocheting booties for all her family. Bonnie was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Eva Jost; her husband, Charles R, Immekus Sr.; two step-sons, Michael and Kenny Immekus; son-in-law, John Burch; two brothers, Russ and Les Jost; and four sisters, Anna Hamm, Nadine Bledsoe, Betty Fuch and Marie Bailey. She is survived by a son, Charles R. She married Charles R. Jackson on December 29, 1948 in Sullivan, Missouri and to this union one child was born. Mabel accepted the Lord early in life and was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri. She was a homemaker who loved baking and sewing. She lived a simple life but her family was most important. She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Lelah Smith; and brothers, Frank (Emma Jean) Smith and Clarence (Dorothy) Smith. Larry Joseph "Pops" Keen Larry Joseph "Pops" Keen of Steelville, Missouri was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on Monday, November 13, 1944 to Clarence Paul and Anna Mildred (AuBuchon) Keen and passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 7 days. Larry was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He married Mary Lou Sansoucie and to this union two children were born. He was a police officer and firefighter in Bonne Terre, Missouri. He later married Sandra Pettus, who passed away in 1995. He drove a truck for Swift Transportation in Phoenix, Arizona most of his working life and was a member of the Teamster's Union. He was a member of Steelville Country Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Anna Keen; wife, Sandra Pettus; and brothers, Clarence Keen, Jr. and John W. Keen. Lad Joseph Manor Lad Joseph Manor passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Lad was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. James, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he was also the star pitcher for the Navy's softball team. Lad was great at all Nadine's "home projects." He raised cattle and horses when his health allowed. He also had a Polka band and played both the saxophone and organ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ladislaus and Ann (Zoldak) Stupavsky. Dan Louis Merchoff Dan Louis Merchoff of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of Granite City, Illinois, was born to Jim Y. and Rose Marie (Maykopet) Merchoff on February 17, 1949 in Granite City, Illinois and passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the age of 66 years. Dan served his country honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting a game of pool, being an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Y. Merchoff. (Schmidt) Renick of Sullivan, Missouri was born on September 2, 1967 at Sullivan, Missouri to Douglas Arthur Schmidt and Doris Judy (Whiteside) O'Connor and passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the age of 48 years, 4 months and 19 days. She attended and graduated from Sullivan High School. She was active in sports and cultural arts. Often she would help her tune-up the old Ford Mustang. Dawn was a baseball fan all of her life and played softball in her younger years. She enjoyed a good scary movie or a murder mystery show or book. Dawn was fond of reading and was an accomplished Crossword puzzle solver. She was an animal lover and a stray dog or cat's best friend (especially the cats) and supporter of Halo in Sullivan, Missouri. Growing up in the 1970's, Dawn loved the music and culture of that time period. She enjoyed attending Rock concerts in St. Louis with her husband Gail. Dawn was employed in a wide range of occupations over the years that included Apollo of the Ozarks, working at the former Bobber Cafˇ in Sullivan, Missouri and Cowan's Restaurant in Washington, Missouri. She was employed for a time in Lawn and Garden Care at Walmart and later was employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants in Sullivan, Missouri and Washington, Missouri where she later became manager. Later, she worked at Magnet Incorporated in Washington in the silk screening department then came back to work at Paramount Apparel, Inc. in Bourbon, Missouri becoming second shift Supervisor in the Packing Department. She was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Schmidt; one brother, Darren Schmidt; grandparents, Hadley and Anna Schmidt, Francis and Emma Whiteside; and her father-in-law, Kenneth Renick. Rowden of Rolla, Missouri was born on February 21, 1929 in Rolla, Missouri to Isaac and Lillie (Bowen) Reynolds and passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Alberta was employed early on by the USGS and later at KTTR-KCLU. She retired from UMR in 1985. She attended the Rolla Church of Christ and was known by many for her quilts and custard pies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Lillie Reynolds; husband, Ralph Rowden; daughter, Anne Wideman in 1994; and one sister, Mary Lou Daniels.
