He married Barbara Sue Carter on June 30, 1974. George was employed by Meramec Industries for 22 years. After he retired from Meramec, he worked cleaning windows for another five years. George was a Christian and attended Pea Ridge Pentecostal Church. In his younger days, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and building model cars. George loved to walk for exercise and could be seen walking with his friends almost every day, until ill health forced him to quit. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elsie Ash; four brothers, Kenny Ash, in infancy, Jerry, Everett and Lloyd Ash; and one sister, Bernice Brewer. Edna Ruth Bombach Edna Ruth (Ruwwe) Bombach of Cuba, Missouri was born to Benjamin Franklin and Stella Marie (Eoff) Ruwwe, March 4, 1936 and passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Edna Ruth attended and graduated from Guese School, a one room country school. She graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1953. Edna Ruth then went to "The Comptometer School of St. Louis, Missouri." She started work at S.W. Bell Telephone Co. as a comptometrist operator. After working all day at S.W. Bell Telephone Co., Edna took night classes and she was able to finish her schooling that way. On June 5, 1954 Edna Ruth married Kenny Bombach. Edna Ruth enjoyed gardening and going to church. She was a member of Bourbon, Missouri Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kenneth Bombach; her parents, Ben and Stella Ruwwe; one brother, Seldon Ruwwe; and one sister, Jane Wittenbrink. Jim Howard Brown Jim Howard Brown was born February 4, 1955 in Lebanon, Missouri to Harold and Roberta Price Brown and passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 27 days. Jim made a profession of faith in Christ at an early age and at the time of his passing had been a longtime, active and faithful member of Stoutland Baptist Church, where he also served as a Deacon for 44 years. The fellowship and love from his church family was precious to him. On February 9, 1974 Jim married Marie Gregory. Jim graduated from Stoutland High School with the Class of 1973. He was active in his community and held memberships with numerous clubs and organizations. He was a member of the Lebanon Host Lions Club, Gideons International Lebanon Camp, and he was a Mason, holding membership with Laclede Lodge #83 as well as Laclede County Shrine Club. He was on the Stoutland School Board for 17 years and also a member of the water board for public works in Stoutland. He was on the Council of Churches Benevolence Board and for many years he was a fire inspector, which he truly loved and took great pride in. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and knew the stats of nearly every player. He also enjoyed watching Kansas City Chiefs football. He loved reading the newspaper, from all over. It truly was a hobby of his to keep up on current events by reading. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Roberta Brown; and one grandson, Davin Brown. His faith was his foundation, and you could find Jack on a church pew with Edna and the family as they attended church on Sunday. One of life's highlights for Jack was attending Men's Bible Class at Kenny Killeen's garage every other Monday. Kicking back in his recliner, he enjoyed watching television and re-traveling the roads he and Edna had traveled together. Jack was a collector of sail ships, wine, and bourbon bottles/steins, and collecting old classic model cars and he loved driving his MG Midget car. Jack was a great family guy. Crystal had that certain knack that makes for a great waitress. She loved people and made her job a place to bring happiness to those she served. Crystal would later work as a well-liked bartender/server at Frisco's and Rock Fair. She was always known as the life of the party and she enjoyed going floating and traveling. Her family delighted in making her tasty treats and order something new for her to try, just to add a bit of joy to her world during her illness. Stephen Norman Schmidt Stephen Norman Schmidt of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Sullivan, Missouri on February 7, 1932 to Stephan and Goldie (Greenlee) Schmidt and passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Norman grew up and attended school in the Sullivan area, graduating with the Class of 1951. He was drafted into the United States Army on September 9, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri. After his induction, he served in basic training at Camp Gordon. In February of 1953 he flew to Seattle, Washington, where he celebrated his 21st birthday and then boarded ship, which broke downand had to be towed to Honolulu, where he spent the night. He boarded another ship called the "General Walker" to Japan. Then spent service time in Korea for 13 months. Norman married his first wife, Mildred, on December 27, 1952. For most of his working career, Norman hauled gravel and worked in excavating. Mildred passed away in 1999. Norman married Anita Pennock on August 16, 2001. They enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and Branson and also spending quality time on the farm. Norman was passionate about farming and his cattle and enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at the Bobber Cafˇ. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred; an infant granddaughter, Sarah; and his parents, Stephan and Goldie Schmidt. Joshua Thomas Turnbaugh Joshua Thomas Turnbaugh, of Rolla, Missouri was born on February 13, 1978 in Columbia, Missouri to Joseph and Valerie (Magruder) Turnbaugh and passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the age of 42 years. After his father's death, he was raised by his mother and Greg Black. Josh was full of life and took every opportunity to love big and live big. In August 2011 Josh married Laura Beth Myers. In May 2017, Josh graduated with his Masters in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner along side his younger sister. Josh spent most of his adult life caring for geriatric patients. He was intelligent, witty, confident and a genuine soul. He loved making others laugh. He loved Kansas City Chiefs football and Cardinals baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Turnbaugh in 1978; and grandmother, Marjorie Moutray. He is survived by his wife, Laura Turnbaugh of Rolla, Missouri; mother, Valerie Turnbaugh-Chapple and husband Philip of Rolla, Missouri; three children, Harper Turnbaugh, Sydney Turnbaugh and Gibson Turnbaugh, all of Rolla, Missouri; father, Greg Black of Rolla, Missouri; one brother, Joseph Turnabaugh of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Sammy Radcliff of St. James, Missouri; niece, Abby Radcliff of St. James, Missouri; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Connie Myers of Rolla, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Paul Myers of Rolla, Missouri and Todd Myers of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Kimberly Ann Wagoner Kimberly Ann Wagoner of St. James, Missouri was born July 11th, 1980 in Rolla Missouri to Richard Eugene and Barbara Jean Smith Wagoner and passed away January 24, 2021 at the age of 40 years. Kimberly loved going to her kid's school events and games, when possible and when she was unable to attend, it was because of her health. She loved the Lord and loved to read her bible. Before Kimberly's health declined, she loved to meet new people and make new friends. Kimberly grew up in a musical family and loved to listen to her family sing, especially to listen to the gospel CD that her father and oldest sister had recorded. She is survived by three sons, Devon Lane Webster, Vincent John Webster and Wyatt Grayson Webster; one daughter, Chloe Gabriel Webster; three sisters, Jackie Arnold and husband David of St. James, Missouri, Nicole Sarnowski and husband Troy of Gasconade, Missouri and Alicia Embrey of St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Memorial gathering was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. Ida Mae Wilsey Ida Mae Wilsey of Bourbon, Missouri was born in Lineville, Iowa, June 29, 1934 to Sears S. and Gladys Eva (Bettis) Jones and passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the age of 86 years. She married Bennie Jerome Wilsey on July 3, 1956, in Cordon, Iowa. Bennie was a Methodist Minister and Ida Mae was always by his side. Together, they ministered for 48 years. Ida Mae was very education oriented and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was employed as an elementary school teacher for Lonedell, Union and Silex schools. She was also a substitute teacher throughout southeast Missouri. Ida Mae was a very spunky lady. She loved horseback riding and kept horses until the age of 80. On her 85th birthday, Ida Mae and her family went zip lining at M eramec Caverns. Ida Mae had a green thumb and could bring a plant back from the brink of death. She also enjoyed watching Roy Rogers movies, listening to Gaither music and visiting Silver Dollar City. She and Bennie took several motorcycle rides to the Smoky Mountains, Colorado Rockies and Pikes Peak. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Jerome Wilsey; her parents, Sears and Gladys Jones; one granddaughter, Shawna; two brothers, Jimmy and Billy Jones; and one sister, Louise Grimme. She is survived by her children, Mark Wilsey and wife Christine of Paragould, Arkansas, Sharla Kinder and husband Joel of Sullivan, Missouri, Darla Yates and husband Frank of Sullivan, Missouri and Kevin Wilsey and wife Nanette of Winfield, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister, Karen Teater and husband Warren of Fresno, California; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Sullivan, Missouri. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Sullivan, Misosuri with Pastor Brenda Stobbe officiating.
