Doris was united in marriage to Richard Lee Broyles on January 12, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas and to this union three children were born. Doris spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park, Texas, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for 50 years. She taught needlepoint, sewing and quilting. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Diane Broyles; granddaughter, Rebbecca Stark; brother, James Marshall; other relatives and friends. She is survived by her husband of Cuba, Missouri; son, Rick and wife Brigetta Broyles of Cuba, Missouri; daughter, Beverly Ann and husband Tom Stark of Grand Lakes, Colorado; four grandchildren, Jeff Stark of New York, Paul Broyles of St. Louis, Missouri, Stephanie Farley of Dallas, Texas and Loretta Broyles of Cuba, Missouri; three great grandchildren, J.T. and Ashley Farley, Victoria Broyles; sister-in-law, Lou Marshall; other relatives and friends. Magdalen “Madge” Doerr Magdalen “Madge” Doerr of Bourbon, Missouri was born to the union of George and Margaret (Schneider) Matt on Monday, May 1, 1922 at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 4 days. Madge was united in marriage to Arthur Doerr in 1943 at St. Louis, Missouri. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, baking, cooking, being active at church and senior citizens group functions. But what she enjoyed most was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; other relatives and friends. She is survived by two daughters, Lenore and husband Frank Miles of Crestwood, Missouri and Cheryl and husband Larry Goodman of Bourbon, Missouri; three sons, Donald and wife Ida Doerr of Arnold, Missouri, James and wife Charlotte Doerr of St. Charles, Missouri, Michael “Mick” (Wendy) Doerr of Sullivan, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Doyle of Oak Grove, Missouri was born at St. Louis, Missouri on August 10, 1918 to Richard and Edna (Noll) Rubel and passed away Friday, January 30, 2009 at the age of 90 years. On February 20, 1937 she was united in marriage to John T. “Jack” Reeves and to this union four children were born. The family moved to the Sullivan area in 1957. Dorothy was a member of Saint Anthony Parish of Sullivan, Missouri where she was actively involved in many parish activities including bingo, serving dinners, helping at various festivals and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Saint Anthony Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson and two sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Ann Williams and husband S.D. (Red) of Hillsboro, Missouri, Evelyn Ortwein and husband Paul of Sullivan, Missouri and Jackie Thomas and husband Jim of Leasburg, Missouri; one son, Jerry Reeves and wife Judy of Gray Summit, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, Missouri with the Rev. Dennis Zacheis officiating. Dorothy Alberta Harman Dorothy Alberta Harman of Gig Harbor, Washington, formerly of Steelville, Missouri, was born October 25, 1922 to Esmar and Pearl (Hatcher) Hendrix in Steelville, Missouri and passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 in Gig Harbor, Washington at the age of 86 years. On November 24, 1941 in Steelville, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Harry Lee Harman. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1993. Dorothy worked at Brown Shoe Company in Steelville for 35 years. She had attended the Assembly of God Church in Steelville for many years. While still living in Steelville, she enjoyed working with her flowers and yard. In the summers, she always looked forward to her grandchildren coming out to stay for several weeks. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Philip Lee Harman; one brother, James Hendrix; one sister, Linda Hendrix; four brothers-in-law, Tom, Jewel, Claude and Sam Harman, and four sisters-in-law, Elsie Carter, Velma Weber, Grace Smith and Hazel Watts. On September 30, 1978, she was united in marriage to Norman M. Jung in St. Louis, Missouri. She was preceded in death by a stepson, Phil Jung. Talbert Robert L. “Buddy” Talbert of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of George and Loretta (McWilliams) Talbert on Saturday, July 10, 1954 in Rolla, Missouri and passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 22 days. Buddy was united in marriage to Joyce P. Cox on November 1, 1974 in Cuba, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Buddy worked as a Grinder and in the Maintenance Dept. at Affinia Brake Parts Inc. in Cuba. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an all around handy man. He was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Talbert and one brother, Ross Talbert.
