He married Carol Daugherty. Bill served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He was a long time member of the Davisville Community Church, previously Davisville Assembly of God Church. Bill owned and operated with Joe and Wilma Baker, his brother and sister-in-law, the Baker's Feed and Grocery in Davisville for a number of years and in a few years bought them out. Bill enjoyed raising cattle and enjoyed his life on the farm more than a vacation. He also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing in his spare time. Bill drove a school bus for 25 years and enjoyed all of the children that passed through his bus doors along with many who looked forward to seeing Bill each school morning. For approximately 12 years, he volunteered delivering meals for Golden Echoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Dora Baker; two step-sons, Mitchell and Curtis Brand; one brother, Joe and Wilma Baker; and sisters, Virginia Wilson and husband, Elba, Naomi Halbert and husband Welbon and Nadine Watson and husband Ray. Michele worked several years as a convenience store cashier in St. Louis, Missouri. She later moved to Cuba five years ago and enjoyed growing plants and taking care of her pets. Tricia, as she was known, was a 1992 graduate of the Crawford County R-II School District. During high school, Tricia ran track and cross country. She played basketball and was the Drum Major for the Cuba High School Band. Tricia dedicated her life to helping others. She spoiled all her family, friends and her puppy dogs. She enjoyed fishing with the boys, shooting skeet and cooking. Her enchiladas and chicken and dumplings were the world's best. Tricia spent hours every year working on the yard. She grew beautiful flowers and she was the one who did all the mowing. She always wanted her yard to look perfect. Jimmy attended Viburnum Schools. He worked as a Heavy Hauler Commercial Truck Driver hauling wind turbines for four years, worked with his brother Brian in the produce trucking business for 15 years as "Riggs Refrigerated Trucking, LLC" and then worked 15 years in auto parts and recycling. Jimmy enjoyed drag racing and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Jerry Glenn Sherrick Jerry Glenn Sherrick of Washington, Missouri, formerly of Sullivan, Missouri, was born September 24, 1946 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Joe and Glenora (Walker) Sherrick and passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the age of 72 years. As a young boy, his family relocated to Sullivan, Missouri where he grew up and attended school. He graduated from Sullivan High School in 1965. Jerry entered the US Navy and served our country for four years, upon which he was honorably discharged. While in the service Jerry married Joan Murphy on May 4, 1969 in Medford, Massachusetts. They moved back to Sullivan, Missouri in 1970 where Jerry continued employment with McDonnell Douglas until his retirement in 2005. Joan passed away in 2003. Jerry was later married Norma Strauser (Luttrell) on September 24, 2005. They enjoyed their retirement years together, which included spending many winters in Texas and travelling through most of the United States. Jerry was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman. He loved hunting elk, deer and duck with his friends. He also enjoyed fishing, boating and getting together for fish fries. Jerry was a diehard Cardinals fan. He was an active member of the community of Sullivan, Missouri. When the kids were little, he could be found coaching many sporting events for them. One of his favorite pastimes was "going for breakfast." He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; two sons, Glenn and Kyle; father, Joe Sherrick and wife Betty; mother, Glenora Sherrick; brother, Sherman; and grandson, Kyle Strauser. She graduated from Steelville High School as a member of the Class of 1964. She married Jerry Reed and to this union two children were born. She later married Ronald Stulce on December 11, 1976. Ruth Ann worked at Brown Shoe for many years until it closed and then she went to Linn Tech where she got her degree as a Machinist. She then went to work for Steelville Manufacturing. She was a member of Straightway Baptist Church. Ruth Ann loved to fish and garden. She enjoyed baking, canning and making jelly. Kristen was a 2002 graduate of Belle High School. On November 7, 2018, Kristen married Michael Tungate in Bland, Missouri. Kristen was a stay at home super mother, her children were her world. She enjoyed woodburning and carving, flowers, listening to music, walking and was a very kind hearted person always willing to help someone in need. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, working on Sudoku puzzles, reading, cooking for her family and taking long leisurely drives with her family.
