She was united in marriage to Darren Bolling on April 26, 2008 and they made their home in Bourbon. Rhonda was employed and retired from Paramount Cap Factory after 17 years. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Marilyn Bolling. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Sage of St. John, Indiana and Judy Koch and husband Steven of Bourbon, Missouri; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Memorial funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Sullivan, Missouri. Berniece Marie Doub Berniece Marie (Cruts) Doub of St. James, Missouri was born in St. James on the farm March 1, 1926 to Rhaney and Lola Atkins Cruts and passed away on February 13, 2016 at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 12 days. She married Robert Pershing Doub on March 24, 1944, a soldier in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was a wartime bride and she and Robert spent their honeymoon in North Carolina. They were married for seven weeks before he was shipped overseas serving in the Battle of the Bulge. During the war years, she worked at Dillon's Department store in St. James, Missouri where she made payments for her wedding suit for her nuptials to Robert. Berniece was a lifetime resident of St. James, Missouri, living in the home her father built for her and Robert at 528 East Eldon for over 65 years. Berniece was a member of the First Church of God at St. James since childhood. She was faithful in the Lord. Berniece was an assistant Sunday school teacher, sang in the church choir and severed as church treasure. She was a member of the Missionary Society, Willing Workers and Tuesdays Ladies Prayer Group. Berniece loved writing letters and sending cards to everyone she cared about. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, canning, and embroidery. Berniece was a charter member of St. James Forrest City Garden Club. She was preceded in death were her parents, Rhaney and Lola Cruts; husband, Robert Pershing Doub; sister, Essie Cruts Jones; brother, Raymond Virgil Cruts; and infant brother, Elmer Jacob Cruts. Eaton of Steelville, Missouri was born on Saturday, October 22, 1938 in Knoble, Arkansas to Thurman and Frances (Heffner) Eaton and passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 12 days. John served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and received an outstanding unit award. He married Mary Blankenship on May 31, 1968 in Paragould, Arkansas. He became an avid reader of the Bible in the last few years of his life. He watched "Shepherd's Chapel" on TV every night. He spent much time at the local "round table" socializing among friends. Stephanie was an exuberant and talented young woman. Her many talents and achievements encompassed Steelville High School Band, Choir, Mock Trial, Year Book Staff, National History Day and SHS Homecoming Queen in 2004. She also, participated with SHS Band in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. She loved to sit under the Mulberry tree and read. She spent many hours crocheting while enduring her hospital stays. Leo Theodore Hanneken Leo Theodore Hanneken of Washington, Missouri was born November 7, 1941 in Washington, Missouri to Elmer and Leona (Breitenbach) Hanneken and passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Leo served his country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Alfermann May 26, 1962 at the St. Ann Catholic Church in Clover Bottom. The couple made their home in Washington, Missouri. Leo was employed as a carpenter in St. Louis for most of his career, after retirement he became a building inspector for Franklin County and retired from his second career in 2004. He was a member of the St. Gertrude Church in Krakow, Missouri, the Western Catholic Union and his Local Carpenter's Union. Leo enjoyed several hobbies including hunting and fishing but he was most passionate about farming. He was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Hanneken on November 28, 2013; two brothers, Jerome and Eugene Hanneken; and one sister, Mary Ann Hanneken. She was united in marriage to Hillard Moore on November 23, 1996 in St. Charles, Missouri. Evelyn moved to the Sullivan, Missouri area in 1998. She enjoyed crafting, fishing for catfish, working in her flower garden and feeding and watching her hummingbirds. Evelyn also loved decorating for the Christmas holiday. She was united in marriage to John Sturm September 28, 1974 this union was joined by three children. Betty was an avid reader, loved word games and Sudoku. She enjoyed traveling, her favorite destination was anywhere there was a beach or a pool. In the last few years Betty really enjoyed visiting Branson, Missouri and the many different shows that were available to go to. She and John were not only soulmates, they were a great team on any endeavor they attempted. Betty enjoyed getting outside, mowing the lawn, and doing some yard work.
