Arnold Gilbert Allerheiligen
Arnold Gilbert Allerheiligen of St. James, Missouri was born on
August 4, 1916 in Hanover, Kansas to Bill and Marie Temps
Allerheiligen and passed away at the Golden Living Center in
St. James, Missouri at the age of 97 years and 6 months.
Arnold married Mildred Pauline Clapp and to this union four sons
were born.
Arnold started as an upholsterer in a one-car garage, and rapidly
grew the business into “Arnold’s Industries, Inc.” Arnold developed
and patented “Instant Pew,” providing padded pews for churches
throughout the United States. They also did industrial sewing for
several industries.
He was active in the Lions Club at Holdrege, Nebraska for many years.
He and his family attended the Assembly of God Church at Holdrege,
Nebraska. Arnold trusted in Jesus as Savior, and looked forward to
seeing his wife Mildred in Heaven. Arnold saw the death of the
physical body as his doorway to Heaven through his relationship
with Jesus the Christ.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday,
February 22, 2014 at Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri
with Reverend Mick Thrasher officiating. Music will be “Mansion
Over The Hilltop” and “Some Golden Day Break” with Dave Robinson
and Sheri Hathaway.

Juanita Lewis Pinnell Bouse
Juanita Lewis Pinnell Bouse of Leasburg, Missouri was born Monday,
September 27, 1915 at Leasburg, Missouri to Roy E. and Viola (nee
Magruder) Lewis and passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at
Sullivan, Missouri at the age of 98 years.
Juanita married Edwin Pinnell on September 16, 1934 at Leasburg,
Missouri and to this union one son was born. They had 54 years
together when Edwin passed away on March 29, 1989.
On August 13, 1990 Juanita was united in marriage to Clark Bouse
of Sullivan, Missouri.
Juanita worked at several factories: Paramount Cap, Curtis Wright
(McDonnell Douglas) and Proctor Products for most of her married
life. After retirement she pieced together many quilt tops and
made sofa pillows. Juanita was a devoted member of the First
Baptist Church of Leasburg for over 80 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. and Viola Lewis;
her two husbands, Edwin Pinnell and Clark Bouse; infant son, Gary
Edwin Pinnell; one brother, Harold and wife Alta Lewis; five sisters,
Algie and husband Andy Villa, Zella and Russell Townsend, Golden
and husband Curtis McKee, Bessie and husband R.C. Vance and Viola
and husband Don Jensen.
She is survived by her brother, James and wife Laura Lewis of House
Springs, Missouri; three step grandchildren; one great step grandson;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, February 17, 2014 from 11 a.m. until
1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Leasburg, Missouri.
Funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014 at the
First Baptist Church of Leasburg with Pastor Tony Amato officiating.
Interment and prayers followed at the Crossroads Cemetery, Leasburg,
Missouri.

David Bramer
David Bramer of St. James, Missouri was born in St. Louis, Missouri
on July 24, and passed away at his home on Friday February 15, 2014
at the age of 81 years.
On April 5, 1975, David was united in marriage to Irene Louise
Stitz.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Irene on
October 19, 2012; one daughter, Navis Kircher and her husband
Raymond and one brother, Stanley Bramer.
He is survived by daughter, Susan Weekley and husband Bob of
Imperial, Missouri; grandchildren, Julie Petreot and husband Mark
and Jennifer Hall; seven great grandchildren, Zack, Ali, Maddie,
Max, Luke, Miranda and Trevor; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the Jones Funeral
Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral service was conducted Monday, February 17, 2014 at 2 p.m.
at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Lynn Huggins
officiating.
Burial was in the Miles Cemetery.

Ray Charles Colvin
Ray Charles Colvin of Rolla, Missouri was born in Rolla, Missouri
on January 29, 1929 to Carl and Mabel (Funke) Colvin and passed
away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 85 years.
He lived in Granite City, Illinois briefly before returning back
to Rolla, Missouri.
Ray married the love of his life, Louise Romberg-Howard on
August 20, 1948. Ray and Louise were blessed with four children.
The couple shared 65 years together.
He enjoyed golf, deer hunting, cutting wood, studying genealogy
and tinkering with vehicles. Ray built the couples home in 1961,
which still stands. His all time favorite past time was spending
time with his family.
Ray loved to work. He was a Tindle Feed dealer, worked in the shoe
factory, farmer, cattle hauler, drove a propane truck and a school
bus and worked 36.5 years as a pressman for the Rolla Daily News.
He always felt work defined a person.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mabel Colvin;
sister, Margie Swope; and brothers, Eugene and Wayne Colvin.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Romberg-Howard Colvin of Rolla,
Missouri; one brother, Max Colvin and wife Gladys of Rolla,
Missouri; four children, Nelson Colvin of Stockton, Missouri, Roger
Colvin of Rolla, Missouri, Lynn Colvin and wife Janet of St. James,
Missouri and Lesa Clifton and husband Brian of Rolla, Missouri;
sisters-in-law, Ava Colvin, and Polly Bacon and husband Jim; nine
grandchildren, Argo, Rhonda, Shawna, Holly, Justin, Emily, Amanda,
Lauren and Logan; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held at the James and Gahr Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri
from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.Funeral service was held
at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Rolla Chapel of the
James and Gahr Mortuary with Brother Bob Johnston officiating.
Internment was at the Beaver Cemetery Rolla, Missouri.

Anita Louise Favre
Anita Louise Favre of Sullivan, Missouri was born on December 5, 1928
to Frank and Evelyn (Riske) Mesger and passed away Tuesday,
February 11, 2014 at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 6 days.
She was a life-long resident of the Sullivan, Missouri area, growing
up on the family farm.
On August 9, 1958, Anita was united in marriage to Henry Favre at
Bourbon, Missouri and to this union four children were born.
She was employed many years at the former International Shoe Company
in Sullivan, Missouri and later the former Midwest Kellwood
Corporation.
Anita enjoyed flower gardening, also cooking and baking, and in
addition she was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. She was a
faithful member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church of Sullivan,
Missouri and was a member of the Ladies Aid and often worked in
preparing dinners for funerals and other church activities.
In her youth, she played the organ at the old Lutheran church at
Elmont.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Evelyn Mesger;
husband, Henry in September 16, 1991; and a brother, Robert Mesger.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Favre of Gerald, Missouri; three
daughters, Brenda Favre of Sullivan, Missouri, Bonnie Blaue and
husband Jim of Gerald, Missouri and Bernita Schrader and husband
Ed of Wentzville, Missouri; two sisters, Earlin Ware of Bourbon,
Missouri and Norma Turley and husband Alan of Fenton, Missouri;
five grandchildren, Zachary, Tony, Audrey, Josh and Eddie; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 9:30-11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014
at Saint Matthew Lutheran Church in Sullivan, Missouri.

Wanda LaRuth Forté
Wanda LaRuth Forté of St. James, Missouri was born on
August 14, 1929 in Roselect, Oklahoma to Lonnie Ney and Carmen
Ercell Preston Young and passed away at her home on Monday,
February 17, 2014 at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 3 days.
She was in the real estate business for 30 years as a real estate
agent.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie Ney and Carmen
Ercell Preston Young; two brothers, Billy Jack Young in
December 1995 and Daniel Boyce Young in December 2011.
She is survived by one son, Danny Craig Woodward of St. James,
Missouri; one daughter, Toni Michelle Forté of St. James,
Missouri; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Young of Corcol, California;
other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday,
February 22, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in St. James, Missouri
with Stephen Brubaker officiating.
Stephen Brubaker and Jenny Brakensiek will be the vocalists with
Janet Ashley at the organ. Songs will be “How Great Thou Art,”
“Amazing Grace,” “Just As I Am” and “To God Be The Glory.”

Thelma G. Harmon, nee Riggs, was born on Wednesday, July 8, 1914 in
Steelville, Missouri to Walter C. and Virgie Conaway Riggs and
passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 99 years
and 7 months.
Thelma loved going to church and reading her Bible. She was saved
when she was 16 years old and was baptized in 1930. She worked as
a nurses aid in health care.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, cooking,
gardening, canning and was always willing to help others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Virgie Riggs;
sons, Clifton Harmon and Alvin Harmon; 11 brothers Claude (Lorene)
Riggs, Earl Riggs, Edward Riggs, Ewing (Ruby) Riggs, Glen (Mary)
Riggs, Eldon (Elsie) Riggs, Norman Riggs, Clyde (Jean) Riggs,
Homer Riggs, Billy Riggs and Arthur Riggs; grandson Robert Glore

Basil Hassler, Jr.
Basil Hassler, Jr. of Sullivan, Missouri, formerly of Leasburg,
Missouri, was born to Basil and Nancy E. (Branson) Hassler on
September 8, 1927 in Owensville, Missouri and passed away Monday,
February 10, 2014 at Life Care Center in Sullivan, Missouri at the
age of 86 years.
Basil was united in marriage to Marie K. Lauth on September 6, 1947
and to this union four children were born.
Basil retired in 1993 as a Foreman for West Contracting Company
after many years of dedicated service. He was a longtime member of
the Webster Groves Lodge #84 A.F. & A.M. and Fraternal Order of
Eagles Aerie 4307 Bourbon, MIssouri. His hobbies included fishing,
riding ATV’s, traveling, playing pool, keno and helping out at the
Eagles Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil Sr. and Nancy
Hassler; wife, Marie K. Hassler; four brothers, Arnold, Kenneth,
Jerry and Maurice Hassler; one son-in-law, Ralph Paul.
He is survived by his four children, Lawrence and wife Tricia
Hassler of Union, Missouri, Richard and wife Amy Hassler, Judy Paul,
Tynna and husband Ron Gallagher all of Leasburg, Missouri; six
grandchildren, Wade, Wendy, Michelle, Mandy, Crystal and Kathy;
one brother Ron Hassler of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister,

Wilma Lorene Hayes
Wilma Lorene Hayes, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, formerly of
St. James, Missouri, was born on January 27, 1928 in Maries County,
Missouri to George W. and Anna E. (James) Workman and passed away
Saturday, February 9, 2014 at the age of 86 years.
On November 30, 1946 she married Warren K. Hayes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Anna Workman;
her husband, Warren in August of 1978; one son, Michael W. Hayes;
five brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth D. Hayes, Sr. and wife Virginia
(Jinny) of Hendersonville, Tennessee; one brother, Lloyd Workman of
Vichy, Missouri; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 1-2 p.m. on February 13, 2014 at the Null
and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.
Graveside service was conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday,
February 13, 2014 at the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in
Rolla, Missouri.

Johnie A. Hughes
Johnie A. Hughes of Jefferson City, Missouri was born in Waynesville,
Missouri on April 28, 1928 to John and Ollie Belle (Tuck) Hughes and
passed away Thursday, February 7, 2014 at the Villa Marie Nursing
Center in Jefferson City at the age of 85 years.
Johnie drove a taxi and a bus around Waynesville and the Ft. Leonard
Wood area before going to work for Westinghouse-ABB. He was very
mechanical and loved to work on cars. Johnie enjoyed country living
and being in the outdoors. He retired from Westinghouse-ABB in 1990
and really enjoyed to get and visit family and friends. He was a
member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ollie Hughes;
and 10 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Manning of Ironton, Missouri;
son, Ted Hughes and wife Leslie of Holts Summit, Missouri;
grandchildren, LaRena (Jerry) Hurst, Autumn (Mark) Ridenhour,
and Drew (Natalia) Hughes; great grandchildren, Kaytlynn and
Jackson Hurst, and Hunter Ridenhour; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were Monday, February 10, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at
the Kissock Cemetery in rural Dent County.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 1 p.m.
at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Holts Summit, Missouri.
Shirley Mae Parrish
Shirley Mae Parrish of Rolla, Missouri was born on April 28, 1936
in St. Louis, Missouri to Hunter B. and Emma A. Copeland Craig and
passed away at the Rolla Health and Rehabilitation Center on Monday,
February 10, 2014 at the age of 77 years, 9 months, and 13 days.
She was united in marriage to Everett Eugene Parrish on
November 25, 1953 at the St. James Christian Church in St. James,
Missouri.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in St. James,
Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gene Parrish on
December 14, 2008; and her parents, Hunter B. and Emma A. Copeland
Craig.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Meziere and husband David
of Lee, Florida and Rita Parrish of Rolla, Missouri; sister, Beverly
Stuckmeyer of St. Louis, Missouri; granddaughter, Cynthia Earle and
husband Danny; great grandson, Jonathon Earle; other relatives and
friends.
Visitation was Thursday, February 13, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the
Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, February 14, 2014 at
10 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Mick
Thrasher officiating. Organist was Charlet Hemme, vocalist was
Kaye Faulkner and songs were “What A Friend We Have In Jesus” and
“Beulah Land.”
Pallbearers were Ed Gabel, Bob Mounce, Shannon Roark, Leon Conway,
Harold Kaufman and Scott Bartle.
Burial was in the Broadway Memorial Cemetery in rural St. James,
Missouri.

Violet “Fern” Quick
Violet “Fern” Quick of Warrenton, Missouri, formerly of St. James,
Missouri, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 17, 1941 to
Vernon and Ivy (Curtis) Usher and passed away Wednesday,
February 12, 2014 at the age of 72 years.
On July 6, 1957 she became the bride of Clarence L. Quick and to
this union seven children were born.
Fern always put her family first, she loved raising her children,
and taking care of the family. She was a tremendous cook and enjoyed
getting everyone together for big meals and keeping the family
tightly knitted. Fern enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and her
rose garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ivy Usher;
husband, Clarence in March 2001; brothers, Chester, Claude, James,
Thomas and Charles Usher; and sister, Thelma Hutton.
She is survived by her children, Michael Quick and wife Ginger of
Nixa, Missouri, Christina Honercamp and husband Chuck of Troy,
Missouri, Cheryl Barnes of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Patricia
Kindlesparger and husband Steve of Fredricktown, Missouri, Karen
Knowles and husband Patrick of Bismarck, Missouri, Sue Parker and
husband Tim of Warrenton, Missouri and Steven Quick of Wentzville,
Missouri; sisters, Muredda Sue Winningham of Arkansas and Mary Ann
McMullin of Lemay, Missouri; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.

Sandra L. Robinson
Sandra L. Robinson of Cuba Missouri was born in Puxico, Missouri
on December 23, 1945 to James C. and Geneva M. Brown and passed
away on February 7, 2014 at the age of 68 years.
Sandra was married to David W. Robinson on December 23, 1985.
Sandra lived most of her life as a homemaker, but did take
occasional jobs as a customer service representative.
She was preceded in death by father, James C. Brown; mother,
Geneva M. Parker; husband, David W. Robinson.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel Hagston of Granite City,
Illinois and Mark Hagston of Owensville, Missouri; one
daughter-in-law, Brandy Hagston of Owensville Missouri; three
grandchildren, Brittany Hagston of Owensville, Missouri, Tyler
Hagston of Granite City, Illinois, and Austin Hagston of
Owensville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Sandra’s wishes were not to have a memorial service, but to have her
body donated to St. Louis University Medical School. The family will
honor her wishes and mourn privately.
Robert “Bob” Edwin Shasserre
Robert “Bob” Edwin Shasserre was born November 29, 1930 in St. Louis,
Missouri to Frank Sr. and Helen Myer Shasserre and passed away
February 5, 2014 at the age of 83 years, 2 months and 6 days.
Bob married Helen L. Conner on June 30, 1951 in Steelville,
Missouri and to this union two sons were born.
The family lived in St. Louis until Bob was a year old and then
moved to the farm near Cuba, Missouri. Bob attended Oak Shade
Grade School. He graduated from Cuba High School in 1948.
Bob always liked mechanics. He started in the mechanical trade as
soon as he graduated from high school.
He and Helen moved to Steelville when they married. Bob worked at
Schwieder Ford and then in 1953 they moved to Cuba, Missouri. He
operated a service station and later worked for the Cuba School
District as manager of the school bus operation. He maintained the
buses and drove one. He was on the Cuba Fire Department and a Cub
Scout den dad.
Bob worked in Steelville for Cliff Miles before he and Helen moved
back to Steelville in 1963 and started “Bob’s Auto Service.” He
ran a wrecker service and did radiator repair along with
mechanical work on vehicles. Bob retired from doing the mechanical
work in 1995.
Bob enjoyed gardening, watching and feeding the birds and liked
to travel. He enjoyed reading, St. Louis Cardinal baseball,
listening to music and going to Branson.
In his earlier years, he enjoyed card playing especially pinochle
and a doing a little fishing. He was also involved in stock cars
during the 1950’s and 1960’s working in the pits.
Bob was a member of the Steelville First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Sr. and Helen
Shasserre; his parents-in-law, James Leo and Murill Souders Conner;
step-mother, Helen Partish Shasserre; brother-in-law, Bill Lewis;
sister-in-law, Georgetta Shasserre: and his son, Jerry Shasserre.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home in Steelville; son,
Tim Shasserre and wife Linda of Steelville, Missouri; three grand-
daughters, Jane Bullock, Debbie Moses and husband, Jeff and Mara
Shasserre, all of Steelville, Missouri; grandson, Specialist Robert
Shasserre and wife Stephanie of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; four
great grandsons, Dusty, Trever and Luke Bullock of Steelville,
Missouri and Kaleb Shasserre of Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri; two
great granddaughters, Alaina Shasserre of Ft. Leonard Wood,
Missouri and Miriam Moses of Steelville, Missouri; one brother,

Ellen Joann “Jodi” Stewart
Ellen Joann “Jodi” Stewart of Cuba, Missouri was born July 23, 1936
at Oak Hill, Missouri to Clarence and Bernice (nee Warren) Rector
and passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Cuba, Missouri at the
age of 77 years.
Jodi was united in marriage to Clifford Stewart on October 8, 1954
in Cuba, Missouri and to this union three children were born.
Jodi graduated from the Cuba High School in 1953 and in the early
1960’s she graduated from Hair Styling School in St. Charles,
Missouri. She was a hair stylist from 1961 until she retired in
2005. Jodi owned and operated Joe Bee Beauty Shop, Country Curl,
JP Locks and Designing Women and also worked at Chalet.
Jodi enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidering and
cross-stitch. She spent hours planting flowers in her yard and for
the last few years she also planted a small herb garden.
Jodi was the Stewart, Rector and Warren family genealogist. She put
together a large book on the Stewart family and distant family
member would just stop by to see if Jodi had any information on
their family.
Jodi’s greatest wish in life was to have great grandchildren and
in November of 2102 she finished a beautiful baby quilt and in
June of this year that great grandchild will have that beautiful
gift.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bernice
Rector; brothers-in-law, Charles “Chuck” Stewart, William Stewart
and Bill Albrecht.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Clifford of the
home; three children, Carla and husband David Koch of Columbia,
Missouri, Cathy Stewart of St. Louis, Missouri and Kevin Stewart
of Arizona; one grandson, David and wife Stephanie Woodruff of
Colorado; brother-in-law, Bob and wife Joyce Stewart of Cuba,
Missouri; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Stewart, June Albrecht, both
of Cuba, Missouri, Lou Stewart of Waynesville, Missouri, Nancy
and husband Don Fischer of Fort Mauve, Arizona; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 10 a.m.
until noon at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at noon on Wednesday, February 12, 2014
at the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Special music was
“Amazing Grace,” “How Great Thou Art” and “I’ll Fly Away.”
A private family interment and prayers was held at Oak Hill
Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.

Marilyn Lorette Todd
Marilyn Lorette Todd of Rolla, Missouri was born on
September 25, 1935 to Arvid and Lorette (Crist) Maeder and passed
away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the age of 78 years.
She married Fred A. Todd on June 1, 1957 in San Gabriel, California.
Marilyn was a homemaker and enjoyed playing piano, playing bridge,
baking cakes, and bowling. She lived in California until moving to
Missouri in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arvid and Lorette Maeder;
husband, Fred Todd; sister, Jacquelyn Thommes; and daughter, Claudia
Todd.
She is survived by daughter, Gayle Burke and husband Ron of Bourbon,
Missouri; three brothers-in-law, Lee Todd of Vichy, Missouri,
Francis Todd (GG) of Wright City, Missouri, Peter Thommes of Lake
Forest, California; sister-in-law, Shirley Gould of St. Charles,
Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday February 14, 2014
at the Broadway Cemetery in Maries County, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the James and Gahr Mortuary in
St. James, Missouri.
Dorothy Walker
Dorothy Walker of Sullivan, Missouri was born June 25, 1947 at
St. Louis, Missouri to Theodore and Mae (nee LaChance) Valley and
passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at at the age of 66 years.
Dorothy was united in marriage to Bruce Walker on August 12, 1966
at St. Louis, Missouri and to this union six children were born.
Dorothy spent her life taking care of her home and her children as
they were growing up. Dorothy and Bruce spent hours playing cards
and dice and when the children were at home they all went camping,
fishing and swimming. Dorothy enjoyed word search books, watching
TV, classical country music and her toy poodle “Lady Bug.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mae Valley;
husband, Bruce Walker; three children, Merry Augustine, Donald Alan
and Mathew Joseph Walker; two granddaughters, Nicole Walker and
Andrea Meador; brothers, Andrew Valley, Marvin Valley, Phillip
Stotler; sisters, Margaret Skaggs, Esther and husband Herman Curtis,
Bert Sweeny, Betty Howard and Irene and husband Lawrence Reed; and
brother-in-law, George Hodges.
She is survived by three children, Sonya and husband Gregory Ford
of Sullivan, Missouri, Jonathan Wayne Walker of Sullivan, Missouri
and fianeé Donna Hollaway of Warrenton, Missouri and Marc Alan and
wife JoAnn Walker of Morgantown, West Virginia; nine grandchildren,
Kody, Michael and Erik Ford, Jessica Ross, Brittany and Lakota Walker,
Alexandrya and Jonathan Walker Jr. and Robert Garret; 10 great grand-
children; two sisters, Nadine Hodges of Sullivan, Missouri and Audrey
Lynn Corter of Park Hills, Missouri; two brothers, Louis and wife
Alice Valley of Bourbon, Missouri and Melvin and wife Janie Valley
of Arizona; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Valley of St. Louis,
Missouri, Vada Valley of California, Betty Valley of Bourbon,
Missouri and Geraldine Casey of Coolidge, Texas; three
brothers-in-law, Ted Skaggs of Bourbon, Missouri, Bill Sweeny of
Missouri and Charles Howard of Kansas; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014
at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks,
Missouri.

Floyd J. Williams
Floyd J. Williams of Cuba, Missouri was born to Ernest E. and
Ruth P. (Enloe) Williams on Thursday, August 30, 1928 in Jakes
Prairie, Missouri and passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Cuba
Manor at the age of 85 years.
Floyd was united in marriage to Ruby Dickens on September 16, 1950
in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two children were born.
Floyd retired after 35 years of dedicated service to Echo Supply
Company and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the
Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuba,
Missouri and the Cuba Memorial Post #522 A.L. In his spare time he
enjoyed being a carpenter, fishing, gardening, traveling and
spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth Williams;
sisters-in-law, Grace Williams, Sharon Dickens and Shirley Dickens;
brothers-in-law, Charles Spurgeon, Cecil Brown, Edwin Kitchen and
Carl Dickens; one niece, Tammy Dickens.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruby Williams of Cuba,
Missouri; one daughter, Lisa and husband Don Isbell of Cuba,
Missouri; one son, Lloyd and wife Coby Williams of Barnhart,
Missouri; one brother, Ernest Junior Williams of Meadview City,
Arizona; one sister, Grace Spurgeon of Bland, Missouri; seven grand-
children, Kelsey, Jeremy (Christina), Jason (Caitlin), Colin and
Corey Williams, Ben (Rita) Lee, Jacob Isbell; five great grand-
children, Dylan and Blake Lee, Zachery, Brianna and Sophie Williams;
four sisters-in-law, Ruth Dickens, Lucille and husband Gary Campbell,
Helen Brown and Mabel Kitchen, all of Cuba, Missouri; three
brothers-in-law, Paul and wife Geraldine Dickens, James Dickens,
Leon and wife Donna Dickens, all of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at
Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10 a.m.
at the First Baptist Church of Cuba in Cuba, Missouri.
Interment with full military honors followed at the Oak Hill
Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
