On July 4, 1994 he was united in marriage to Roxanne Dennis of Bremerton, Washington. Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy where he retired after 20 years of service. He loved fly fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Berg. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne; mother, Reta Berg of Licking, Missouri; two daughters, Leah and Kimberly Berg of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Doug Berg and wife Linda of Steelville, Missouri and Loren Berg and wife Bambi of Aztec, New Mexico; one sister, Rebecca McFarland and husband Mark of Edgar Springs, Missouri; two nephews, Lane and Ryan Berg of Licking, Missouri; other relatives and friends. "Sam" Callahan of Cuba, Missouri was born to Landis J. and Alva M. (Conaway) Callahan on Tuesday, January 8, 1946 in Cherryville, Missouri and passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Sam proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. After the service Sam was a truck driver for several years. After moving to Cuba, Missouri Sam worked for the City of Cuba in the Street Department. He retired from the City of Cuba after 16 years. Sam and Lillie attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church and Evangelical Holiness Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Sam loved to play the guitar, sing and teach Sunday school. He was preceded in death by his parents, Landis and Alva (Conaway) Callahan; and two sisters, Fern Callahan and Sylvia Stroup. She married James Estel Harris on October 10, 1958. Patricia gave her heart to Jesus when she was nine years old. She loved to draw, put puzzles together and collect stamps. She enjoyed watching car races on television and collected car racing magazines. She liked going to the park to watch the ducks on the lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Dorothy Trinkler; husband, James Estel Harris; sisters, Bertha (Harvey) Hutson and Darlena (Dwight) Harris; and grandson, Colton Thomas Larrison. William "Bill" Floyd Hudson IV William "Bill" Floyd Hudson IV of Linn, Missouri was born on April 19, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri to William Floyd Hudson III and Grace Virginia (Nelson) Hudson and passed away on Tuesday February 27, 2018 at the age of 67 years. Bill attended school in Eureka, Missouri graduating in 1968. He then continued his education at Linn Technology College graduating with an associates degree in Electronics in 1970. He married Deborah Monroe 1970 and made their residents in St. Louis, Missouri where Bill was employed with St. Louis Police Department. He then worked for Motorola for 30 plus years. Bill then retired from Nextel in 2003 after finding out he had Multiple Sclerosis. Bill became an amateur radio operator in 1964. The following year he achieved his General License. Bill talked to numerous countries, the space stations and even bounced signals off the moon and meteors. He received from the American Radio Relay League several years membership in the exclusive VHF/UHF Century Club (VUCC) and DX Century Club. Bill was a past member of the Rolla Radio Club and the St. Louis Radio Club. He was in Amature Radio for 53 years and still very active at the time of his passing. Bill was a member of SkyWarn from the National Weather Service, Emergency Service Satern with the Salvation Army, Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service, co-founder of project graduation in Cuba, Past President and co-founder of Kiwanis in Cuba, Missouri, founder of Media Club and sponsor at Cuba High School, participated in Missouri Traffic Net, a member of ARRL Amateur Radio Emergency Communications, member of the American Radio Relay League Inc., member of the Breakfast Club with Amateur Radio, member of the Before Breakfast Club with Amateur Radio, participated with Amateur Radio emergency communications support to the State Emergency Management Agency Earthquake Exercise and more. Bill enjoyed fly fishing, photography, car shows, hunting, fishing and watching Nascar races. He was preceded in death by his father, William Floyd Hudson III; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Neva (Clark) Monroe; sister-in-law, Virgina (Monroe) Turner; and brother-in-law, Daniel Monroe. J.C. worked at the McDonald Douglas for several years. He did wire repairs on Jet planes. He was a craftsman and a fabricator. Donna Sue Laney Donna Sue (McKinney) Laney of Oregon was born on February 27, 1938 in Macon, Missouri to Charles and Beulah (Smith) McKinney and passed away on February 23, 2018 at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 23 days. Donna graduated from Cuba High School, Cuba Missouri in 1956. She spent a number of years working at The Cuba Free Press prior to moving to Cottage Grove, Oregon in 1976. She worked for Kinkade Insurance and Western States Insurance until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed many volunteer activities. She delighted in working with the reading program at Bohemia Elementary School and with the Cottage Grove Chamber of commerce, where she shared her love of Oregon with visitors. Donna was a member of the Cottage Grove United Methodist Church. She loved the beauty of the Willamette Valley and visiting the Oregon coast with family. Shewas preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beulah McKenney; and her sister, Patricia Happel. Norman "Norm" dale LaRose Jr. Norman "Norm" Dale LaRose Jr. of Steelville, Missouri, formerly of Torrance, California, was born October 5, 1950 in San Fernando, California to Norman LaRose Sr. and Edna Kroeker LaRose and passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 18 days. Norm was united in marriage to Paula Stauffer. Norm worked as an electronics repairman for many years. In 2009 he moved to Steelville, Missouri to be near his only sibling. Norm was a very talented artist in his early years. He loved to paint and work with computer art. He loved music and wrote many songs throughout the years and played many kinds of instruments. Norm was also avid photographer. One other enjoyment he had was surfing. From his youth until in his 50's he always loved the freedom of surfing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Sr. and Edna LaRose. He is survived by his sister, Yvonne "Evie" LaRose of Steelville, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Diana was united in marriage to John Nally on July 3, 2003. Diana worked for Presbyterian Manor in Rolla, Missouri. Diana really loved her job and the residents that she served, she was very kind hearted and enjoyed going to work everyday. When she was in high school she played basketball and really enjoyed the game. She also loved her cats, making sure all the stray cats in the neighborhood were taken care of. Most of all she loved her family, cooking for them and seeing that they had what they needed was her goal. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernesto Ramon Sr.; brothers, Ernesto Ramon Jr., Thomas Ramon and Issac Ramon; and sister, Lydia Sandoval. Gene married Dessie Louise Boggess on September 3, 1955 in Tulia, Texas. Gene graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayland College, Wayland, Texas. He then worked 31 years and retired as a computer specialist with the Civil Service. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri where he served as a deacon. Gene was a professional clown and was co-founder of the St. Louis Christian Clown Club. He was a member of the Clowns of America International and Fellowship of Christian Magicians International. He was certified as a Christian performer for military and government functions. He enjoyed fishing, rock hunting, traveling, and watching the St. Louis Cardinal ball team. Gene was a dedicated Christian, licensed minister and faithful servant.
