He enjoyed being outdoors fishing, riding horses and taking buggy rides. Danny even drove a tractor with Uncle Dick. Television was important to Danny, he watched the Price is Right, but his favorite show was Hee Haw and sometimes he became impatient until the next week show came on, so when tapes of Hee Haw came out, they were purchased for Danny. Danny liked to have fun and often was told he was full of bologna, which amused him. He liked to be teased and also like to tease people and at time he would tell people to Chill. Danny had many difficulties from birth but had much enjoyment from life. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Roark Sr.; brother-in-law, John Thomas Duncan; and step grandfather, Lawrence Richards. Donna enjoyed spending her free time with her family and church members, forever making people laugh. Always ready to lend a helping hand or prayer, she kept herself busy every waking moment. She was employed for many years working on the pipelines with her soul mate Bob Green, being able to enjoy much of the Western and Central United States scenery. Once retired, she became a grandma that all the kids loved to spend time with. Flint Allen Limberg Sr. Flint Allen Limberg Sr. of Lamar, Missouri was born August 8, 1962 in Cuba, Missouri to Johnny and Rose Marie (Burns) Limberg and passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 53 years. Flint worked in the vineyards near Steelville, Missouri during high school. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp in 1981, serving overseas for two of his four-year tour of duty. Flint fulfilled his Marine Corp Reserve obligation in 1987 and joined the Missouri Army National Guard where he helped with many stateside natural disaster recovery efforts. Flint's work ethic was evident during the 17 years he was a shift supervisor at BPI in Cuba, Missouri and the nine months he worked at Land of Lakes Purina in Springfield, Missouri. After perfect attendance at each of his jobs, Flint was forced to retire from Jasper Products in Joplin, Missouri due to health issues.On May 7, 1994 at Bible Baptist Church in Cuba, Missouri Flint married Terri Jan Fowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Rose Linberg; brother, Elvin Limberg; and two sisters, Carol Limberg Miller and Vicki Limberg Combs. He is survived by his wife, Terri Limberg; son, Flint A. Armista Joan Morris Armista Joan Morris of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Desloge, Missouri on November 11, 1932 to Charles Oscar and Essie Elizabeth (Newcomb) Reed and passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 16 days. Joan, as she was known by her family and friends, came to Sullivan, Missouri in 1959. On August 31, 1955 she was united in marriage to James Wilson Morris and to this marriage two children were born. From 1960 to 1968 she was employed as a nurse's aide in the office of Dr. John de la Torre. Joan later student taught in the Francis Howell School District and soon after taught school at Sullivan Junior High. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from UMR and later attended Webster University, working toward her Master's Degree. Joan enjoyed literature and reading, gardening and cooking. She was especially fond of meeting with her friends over coffee. Joan was a member of the Episcopal Church of St. John and St. James of Sullivan, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Essie Reed; and husband, James Morris. She is survived by a son, Tim Morris of Washington, Missouri; daughter, Sally Mullally and husband Kevin of Cuba, Missouri; six grandchildren, Sean, Colin, and Kevin C. Callie loved life and was strong in spirit and action. She encountered numerous challenges but strived to overcome each and every one. As a friend, she was loyal; as a cousin and step-sister, she offered help when needed and as a daughter, she expressed love and compassion as she took care of her mother during a long illness. She will always be her father's number one daughter. Callie Ann's untimely death leaves a void in far too many lives. She touched everyone in a special way and will always be treasured. Reynolds of Troy, Missouri was born in Martin, Tennessee to Jesse and Mattie (Holland) Reynolds and passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the age of 84 years. He was raised in Tennessee for a time and later moved to Sullivan, Missouri. Charles attended Sullivan High School but left his studies to enlist in the United States Army. He honorably served his country in the Korean War attaining the rank of Corporal. While in the service he earned his GED. Charles was united in marriage to Nancy Schmitt. He was employed several years with RCA and later by General Electric as a service technician. He retired from GE in 1990. Charles enjoyed cars and fishing the Great Lakes. He delighted in knife and gun collecting and the martial arts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Mattie Reynolds; son, Charles Phillip Reynolds; and one brother, Bob Reynolds. Merna married Charles Fredrick "Freddie" Smith on July 4, 1954 in Steelville, Missouri and to this union five children were born. Merna worked as a bank teller for Delmar Bank in St. Louis, Missouri for a number of years and later she worked for Brown Shoe Company for a short time as a bower before she dovoted her time to being a full time homemaker. She was a Cub Scouts Den mother, was active in her children's 4-H, Adam Ball and Khoury League Baseball and coached softball. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, quilting, growing potted flowers and her dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arleigh and Agnes Carpenter; husband, Charles Fredrick "Freddie" Smith; sisters, Sharon Slape and Leah Rodgers; and brothers, Arleigh Carpenter, Jr. and Walter Carpenter. On May 29, 1958 at Cherryville, Missouri he married Betty Lou Godbey. Jessie worked in the timber industry for many years and also worked as a mechanic at Schwieder Ford. He always enjoyed going to auctions, shooting matches, watching westerns and watching wrestling whether on TV or going to the Kiel in St. Louis several years ago. Joyce loved to garden, she loving tended her many beautiful flower gardens through the years, but she also enjoyed the spring planting of the big, beautiful vegetable gardens that she was always happy to share with friends and family. Jodie Ray White II Jodie Ray White II was born October 17, 1959 in Granite City, Illinois to Yvonne (Albert) White and Jodie Ray White and passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at the age of 56 years. On January 26, 1979 he married Margaret Darlene Gilliam in Granite City, Illinois. Ray was a millwright journeyman at Granite City Steel for 15 years, retiring in 1993. He loved motorcycles, fast cars, drag racing and working on motorcycles. He and Darlene were members of Calvary Life Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Jodie White; son, Jerod Ray White; and nephew, Evan Marcus.
