Wanda was a charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. In her younger years she was actively involved in the church, belonging to the ladies' guild, teaching bible school and vacation bible school and also a member of the Couples Club. She owned and operated Wanda's Art Plaster in O'Fallon, Missouri for many years. Mary Louise Burlison Mary Louise Burlison was born on June 14, 1928 in Ferguson, Missouri to George Gilburt and Rose E. (Bushor) Argent and passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 90 years, 8 months and 19 days. She was married on June 12, 1948 to John Burlison in Overland, Missouri. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of SEICU. She was a retired school bus driver from Hazelwood School District. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Rose Argent; two brothers, Richard L. Argent, and Robert E. Kenneth Wayne Carpenter Kenneth Wayne Carpenter was born on July 26, 1928 to Jesse and Faye Carpenter and passed away on February 6, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Wayne had lived a long and productive life. He lived in Bland, Missouri for the most part of his life with his wife Willadeen. Wayne served his country in World War II as a member of a tank unit stationed in Germany at Regensburg. There he contracted an infection and was sent to the Walter Reed Hospital and discharged in 1947. Once he was sent home to St. Louis, Missouri he met his wife and remained married for 50 years before her death. Before his retirement, he worked for KV Pharmaceutical. Wayne is what everyone called him. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Wayne also liked to work with his hands, and could be always found otside working or maintaining his property. He was very exact in all he did, making sure that it could be fixed or built correctly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Faye Carpenter; his wife, Willadeen; a brother, Earl; and a daughter, Carol. Lonnie Leo Chandler Lonnie Leo Chandler of Steelville, Missouri was born June 12, 1947 at Huzzah, Missouri to Clara Eleanor Richards Starks and passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 21 days. Lonnie was raised by his grandparents, Purl and Ella Richards. On May 14, 1966 in Steelville, Missouri he married Judy Bobbitt. As a young man, Lonnie was baptized for his Christian faith. Lonnie served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1967 serving in Korea as a dog trainer on site and later was deployed to Vietnam. He was employed for several years in St. Louis, Missouri as a truck driver and delivery for Budweiser and Stag and also a builder/carpenter for McBride and Son. He later was self-employed owning a siding company for over 30 years. He was a member of the Steelville Country Club, VFW in Cuba and a life-time member of the NRA. He enjoyed working with his cattle, fishing, hunting and playing music. Lonnie could play several instruments and was a member of the band, "Country Squires." He was preceded in death by his mother, Eleanor Starks and step-father, Earl Starks; one son, Lonnie Chandler; two sisters, Sharon K. Starks and infant sister; and sister-in-law, Faye and husband Utah Cassidy. Roy Arthur Dillon Roy Arthur Dillon of St. James, Missouri was born April 5, 1935 at Lanes Prairie, Missouri to Everett Vernon and Nicy Viola Moreland Dillon and passed away Thursday March 7th, 2019 at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 2 days. Roy married Bonnie Sue Koerber on January 2, 1960 in Vienna, Missouri. Roy started going along with his father to feed the animals when he was only two years old. In his early years, he helped his dad do the field work with a team of horses, but with the popularity of tractors, he soon fell in love with the poppin' Johnny. He raised steers and hogs through the 4-H program at Safe, Missouri. During high school he was active in the agriculture program started by Ford Hughes and FFA. He served his country in United States Army in Germany in 1957-1959. After graduating from John F. Hodge High School he began working with his uncle, Floyd Dillon, in the clay business. During this time, he had his first chance to run a bulldozer in 1955. He continued operating the bulldozer for his uncle or Dr. Stricker until 1963 when he bought his first bulldozer, a D7 Caterpillar from Bill Cox and started his own business. His first job was helping to build the pool at the St. James Park. He continued the excavating business with his wife, Bonnie, as his secretary until 2002 when his son, Terry took over the business. In 1964 he and his wife purchased his Grandpa and Grandma Dillon's farm and he started raising Hereford cattle. In 1989, he began Dillon Fertilizer along with his wife, his sons and their wives until 2002. He retired in 2000, although it was only a retirement on paper only. He continued to help Terry restoring clay pits and raising cattle. He raised beef cattle. He spent many hours reading the farm journals learning how to build his herd. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bonnie Dillon on September 15, 2017; son, Terry; and infant brother, Ray Alvin Dillon. She married John R. Peterman on July 31, 1965 in Womack, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and making crafts. Wendy was raised in Granite City, Illinois and attended McKinley Schools. She later married Harry "Snook" Lynn White on April 6, 1970. Wendy loved to hunt and fish. She also enjoyed going camping, playing bingo and lottery tickets. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Sr. and Thelma Turner; husband, Harry "Snook" White; parents-in-law, Benjamin and Rosetta White; brother, George Turner Jr.; and sisters, Juanita (Arvin) Downing and Anita (Robert) Jackson. Jeremy Dean Williams Jeremy Dean Williams of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, Missouri, was born Friday, December 18, 1992 at St. Louis, Missouri to Mark A. Williams and Denise A. Basham and passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the age of 26 years. Jeremy attended school until the eighth grade at Cuba, Missouri and he went to high school and graduated from Rolla, Misouri. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball and golfing with his dad. He spent hours writing music and singing. He loved animals, his friends, his family and his job. Since January 2017 Jeremy had been a Marine Tug-man (deck hand) for SCF Bunge/Marine. He loved being on the water because he said it was "peaceful." Jeremy had a great faith and one of his favorite Bible verses was Isiah 41 verse 10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." He is survived by his mother, Denise A.
