MO Local Obituaries for the Week of March 15, 2018 Joseph Michael Berg Joseph Michael Berg of Cuba, Missouri was born on May 8, 1966 in Muncie, Indiana to Ronald and Reta (Borrer) Berg and passed away February 27, 2018 at the age of 51 years. On July 4, 1994 he was united in marriage to Roxanne Dennis of Bremerton, Washington. Joseph proudly served in the United States Navy where he retired after 20 years of service. He loved fly fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Berg. He is survived by his wife, Roxanne; mother, Reta Berg of Licking, Missouri; two daughters, Leah and Kimberly Berg of Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Doug Berg and wife Linda of Steelville, Missouri and Loren Berg and wife Bambi of Aztec, New Mexico; one sister, Rebecca McFarland and husband Mark of Edgar Springs, Missouri; two nephews, Lane and Ryan Berg of Licking, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Jennifer DeClue Jennifer (Maddox) DeClue of Sullivan, Missouri was born April 3, 1981 and passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the age of 36 years. Jennifer faced many challenges throughout her life and was working towards making amends. She was beginning to build a relationship and a future with her husband and reaching out to rebuild relationships with her children. She was active in her church and faced challenges every day. Jennifer expressed her faith through praise dancing and expression for the deaf. She is survived by her mother, Cathy Simmers (Elvis) of Marble Hill, Missouri; father, James "Elmer" Harris (Janell) of Perryville, Missouri; husband, Joseph DeClue of Hillsboro, Missouri; daughter, Kiara Elon of Marble Hill, Missouri; son, Davyon Mitchell of Texas; step-children, Shelby, Micah and Landon DeClue; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lonnie DeClue (Rhonda) of Fenton, Missouri; two brothers, Shannon Maddox of Marble Hill, Missouri and Bobby Shoulders of Perryville, Missouri; brother-in-law, Jack LaMar (Sandy) of St. Charles, Missouri; special friends, Samantha McCabe of Bourbon, Missouri and Michelle Buerck of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Liam Scott Nichols Liam Scott Nichols, infant son of Bret Nichols and Nicki Ellison, was born on Friday, March 2, 2018 and passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018. Genevieve County, Missouri on September 6, 1923 to John William and Elizabeth (Cambron) Rudloff and passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at the age of 94 years. He was a member of the Cement Mason's Local #527 for 68 years and was proud of all the projects he worked on, including the original Busch Stadium. Mel married Velma Powers. He loved his family, the St. Louis Cardinals, the river, fishing and hunting and all of his buddies... in that order. Mel lived a full and happy life and was very loved. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Rudloff; his son, Christopher Rudloff; and parents, John W. and Elizabeth Rudloff. He is survived by his children, Cambron Boudria, Lori Billings, Stacy Tinker and husband Jay and Danielle Ray; 12 grandchildren, David Everingham, Kyle Lunsford, Stevie and Griffin Tinker, Casey, Alex and Brett Rudloff, Benjamin Billings, Destiny Mayberry, Hannah, Josh and Nathan Goestenkors and Kyle Tinker; seven great grandchildren, Ivy and Lucy Everingham, Charlie and Mickey Lunsford, Samuel Meyer, Heath and Vivian Rudloff; special friends, Richard Shafferkoetter and Sue Reger; other relatives and friends. Bette Lou Tonging Bette Lou Tonding was born on March 12, 1932 to Barney and Melita Hintz Katzung in Kester, Minnesota and passed away on March 6, 2018 at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and 22 days Bette married Lowell C. Tonding on April 13, 1952 in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She was a devoted homemaker. She loved having her family around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Melita Katzung; and one brother, Ray Katzung. Chleo Marqueritte White Chleo Margueritte (nee Key) White of Waynesville, Missouri, formerly of Sullivan, Missouri, was born on June 23, 1914 to Benjamin Andrew and Chleo (nee Carter) Key and passed away on March 3, 2018 at the age of 103 years. She married Ralph C. Marsh on July 14, 1935. While living in Sullivan, Missouri Margueritte was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the Order of Rebekah's. Margueritte was an exquisite seamstress. She also wove rugs and had a store front in Sullivan, Missouri in the early 1960's. Her love of sewing provided her grandchildren with many beautiful doll and Barbie clothes and hundreds of her baby quilts were shipped overseas for Catholic Charities. She lived on a farm and loved raising chickens, growing a large vegetable garden and canning. She loved sharing her harvest with her friends, family and neighbors. In 1967 Margueritte married Earl J. White of Bonne Terre, Missouri. While living in Bonne Terre, Margueritte's love of sewing continued. She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Order of Rebekah's. Upon Earl's death, Margueritte returned to her home town of Sullivan, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chleo Marie (nee Marsh) Ruwwe; parents, Benjamin Andrew Key and Chleo Cook; two brothers, William Bennie Key and Reno Roderick Key; one granddaughter, Laura E. Ruwwe Nicoletti, one great grandson, Brian Lee McCance; and sister-in-law, Marcie Key. She is survived by her son-in-law, Donald K. Ruwwe of Bourbon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Alice Christina Key of Kerrville, Texas; three grandchildren, Steven E. Ruwwe and wife Judy of Stanton, Missouri, Janet L. Lein and husband Kim of Iberia, Missouri and Linda M. Schneider and husband David of Rolla, Missouri; eight great grandchildren; 24 great great grandchildren; one great great great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
