Elizabeth Mary Chipman
Elizabeth Mary Chipman of Navarre, Florida was born at Rolla, Mo.
April 11, 1981. She passed away February 27, 2005 in the hospital at
Gulf Breeze, Florida. Funeral services were March 3, 2005, at 1 p.m.
at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, at Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Liz is survived by loving parents, Mike and Barbara Chipman of
Navarre, Florida, her grandparents Charles and Mary Lou Chipman of
Steelville, Missouri, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Also her adopted
grandmother Shirley Bonner of Tacoma, Washington, and many friends
at New Life Tabernacle Church.
Liz, as she liked to be called, had over 500 hours at the Gibbs
Care Center as a volunteer. She received several awards for helping
women contemplating abortion. She still received updates and
pictures of babies that were saved.
Liz spent several hours on the internet with the DOE network to
help identify murdered victims. She had a special spot in her heart
for these women who were mostly prostitutes and drug users. As Liz
said, God sees the heart and soul of these women.
She sponsored five beautiful little girls through Children's
International. She used her money from the checks she received to
buy bunk beds for one of them, as they did not have a bed to sleep
on.
Liz suffered greatly from the very rare disease F.M.F. and she
was racked with pain more and more. She wanted to go home to be with
the Lord. He called her to come home at 2.34 a.m. Sunday February
27, 2005.
She will be missed greatly, but she is free from pain at last,
give God the glory.
At her funeral service, her church gave a wonderful inspiring
celebration service for Liz. Arrangements made by Rose Lawn Funeral
Home and burial in Rose Lawn Cemetery, both in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
