Beakley of Fenton, Missouri was born on Monday, April 18, 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri to Steven Andrew and Alice Louise Bellew Beakley and passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 in a motor vehicle accident at the age of 43 years, 10 months and 18 days. Ethan was raised in the Cherryville and Steelville, Missouri area and attended Steelville High School. He had accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at a young age and felt closest to the Lord while out in the woods or fishing. He had worked for Meineke Car Center for two years in Arnold, Missouri and at Auto Zone in Kirkwood, Missouri for 17 years as a sales representative where he had received many awards. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, going mudding and was a member of the Missouri Mudders Club. His main hobbies were hunting, fishing and singing. He loved all kinds of music, singing along with the radio and also doing karaoke. He enjoyed old classic muscle cars and turning wrenches. Ethan loved his beagle dog Ozzy. He was preceded in death by his father, Steven "Steve" Beakley; mother, Alice (step-father Bobby) Heflin; and aunt, Roseann Mattingly. LaRue Marie Bryant LaRue Marie Bryant of Sullivan, Missouri was born in Elmont, Missouri on February 20, 1926 to Otto and Matilda (Ruwwe) Kleager and passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 95 years. She attended and graduated from Sullivan High School, Class of 1943. LaRue married Thomas J. Bryant on May 7, 1944. LaRue was a housewife and also worked outside of the home as a cook for the Sullivan High School, and later, as a floral designer for Bishop Florist. LaRue was an active member of the Eastern Star Sullivan Chapter #105 and a long-time member of the First Presbyterian Church. In her spare time, LaRue enjoyed walking, feeding her hummingbirds and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her parents, Otto and Matilda Kleager; and brother, Gervis Kleager. (Bond) Shirrell and passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the age of 92 years. On June 22, 1946 she married William Walter Cross in Jonesboro, Illinois. Doris owned and operated Cross Beauty Shop on Washington Park in East St. Louis, Missouri. Doris loved music, especially George Jones. She and Bill loved to dance together and people would often stop to watch them. Doris also enjoyed sewing and gardening. Mildred Agnes Davis Mildred Agnes Davis (nee Halbert) of St. Louis, Missouri was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936 in Cherryville, Missouri to Thurston and Lillie "Nettie" Arnetta Murry Halbert and passed away on Wednesday, March 10, at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 10 days. Mildred had accepted the Lord as a young girl at Cherryville Baptist Church. She and her family would listen to the Grand Ole Opry every Saturday. She graduated from Cherryville High School in 1954. Mildred married Max Audell Davis of Davisville, Missouri on December 3, 1955 at the Davisville Assembly of God Church. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she worked outside the home until having children. As a homemaker, Mildred enjoyed canning, embroidery, sewing and baking. Mildred loved snow and going sledding with her children. She was a volunteer Red Cross nurse for the elementary school when her children were in school. After her children were grown, she started working in a daycare as a cook and also tended to children. After which she went to nursing school and started working in a nursing home and residential home. She also had helped in the church nursery and taught a children's Sunday School class. Mildred enjoyed decorating for the holidays and reading. She loved tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurston and "Nettie" Halbert; husband, Max Davis; infant daughter, Marilyn A. Frank loved music, stories, basketball, diving, golf, fly fishing, movies, racing, casinos and traveling around the world. From his birth and youth in St. James, Missouri to his college days at Drury, to his teaching days with Springfield Public Schools, to his State Farm Insurance agency in Hermann, Springfield and Buffalo, Missouri to his time doing TESOL in Iraq, he made friends everywhere he went. Paul O'Dell Frey Paul O'Dell Frey of St. James, Missouri was born October 13, 1940 in St. James, Missouri to Clifford Perry and Beulah Crumb Frey and passed away on Wednesday morning March 10, 2021 at the age of 80 years. He married Helen E Jenkins on May 28, 1960. Helen passed away on December 17, 1998. Paul then married Cora Ann Parsons on October 22, 2005. Paul and Cora enjoyed many church functions, their trips to Branson and attending Rolla First Assembly of God Church. Paul grew up in St. James, Missouri, graduating from John F. Hodge High School in 1958. At the age of 12, Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and continue to worship and in service to the Lord until his death. He went to work at Page Factory. Paul filled in for Helen's grandpa Jenkins on a milk route for extra money on the weekends. Paul then went on to work at the local phone company where he retired after 36 years. The family attended church and often ended up at Pryor's Fresh Pizza afterward. Paul would stop by the church most days to keep a fire burning in the warm morning stove. He helped friends and family with building projects, served at church picnics, lead praise and worship, served as deacon, as well as the Sunday School Superintendent, Paul taught an adult Sunday School class for most of his adult life. Paul and his wife Helen enjoyed singing together. Paul was an avid reader. Paul spent many a night reading Bible stories to his children before putting them to bed. Paul enjoyed playing table tennis with his children. Paul was an avid Cardinal fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beulah and Clifford Frey; wives, Helen Frey and Cora Frey; one brother, Melvin Frey; one sister, Jean Dahlgren; and grandchild, Jara Johnson. On May 27, 1996 she was able to carry the Olympic Torch in Festus, Missouri after winning an essay contest with KZNN. She passed the torch to Russell who then passed it on to Ozzie Smith.
