Nick was married to Opal Beatrice Adam on March 3, 1948 in Rolla, Missouri. He was a farmer all his life. He was a gentle, hard working man. He loved to farm and show animals at the Fall Festival with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Codemo on September 8, 2012; parents, John and Mary Burnetti Codemo; son-in-law, Mike Hamilton; and an infant brother. He is survived by three daughters, Betty Hartmann and husband Ron of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, Barbara Hamilton of St. James, Missouri and Opal Ann Williams and husband Terry of St. James, Missouri; grandchildren, Vicki, Sherri, Kevin, Jeremy, Robin, Matthew and Michael; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with John Kinkead officiating. Harrison of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly of St. James, Missouri, was born on March 26, 1916 in Breese, Illinois to John and Ann Vrabel and passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the age of 99 years. After graduating high school Marcella was united in marriage to William Jesse Harrison, passed away in 1944, leaving Marcella a young widow with a small son. Marcella raised her son strong in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. James, Missouri where she was not only a faithful member, but was very devoted to her parish. She enjoyed being apart of the activities and functions going on within the parish family that she so enjoyed. Marcella loved to travel and did so until her heath no longer permitted. She enjoyed the arts, which included the beautiful needlework she enjoyed and painting which she learned on her own. (Bell) Noblett and passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016, at the age of 78 years. Mary attended school in Vienna, Missouri. On June 12, 1981, she was united in marriage to Billy Joe Lammers at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Mary was a homemaker and also had worked at the Window Factory in Freeburg, Missouri. Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, playing pitch, and traveling. Mary and her sister, Judy, enjoyed planning trips for area residents. Margaret Louise Mitchell Margaret Louise Mitchell (Law) of Rolla, Missouri was born in Green City, Missouri on September 14, 1929 to Cly and Edna (Rouse) Law and passed away Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Margaret loved to sing, earning her the nickname of "songbird.". Her favorite place to sing was at church. She graduated from Green City High School in 1947. On October 31, 1947 Margaret married Charles Mitchell at the Kirksville Methodist Church. In 1949, she and Charles moved to Peoria, Illinois where he worked for Caterpillar. Then five years later they relocated to Pekin, Illinois when he went to work for the United States Postal Service. Margaret stayed at home with their kids, where she enjoyed sewing clothes, and baking for family and church functions. Once their kids were in school, she went to work for a local dress shop. In 1974, they moved to Rolla, Missouri where Charles continued to work for the Post Office. She quickly found a new church home at the First Baptist Church, where she began singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School. Margaret took on a full time job at the Emporium Bridal & Dress Shop. For nearly 20 years, she loved helping brides find the perfect gown. She hosted family dinners every Tuesday night, which always included her famous banana cream pie. Margaret attended the grandchildren's sporting events, choir concerts and countless other activities. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia McNabb and Janie Moddrell; one brother, Edgar "Bud" Law; and a son-in-law, Terry Sbabo. She enjoyed ladies meetings at church, fish fries, flowers, and bird watching from her front porch swing where she liked to spend time. She loved her pet dog, Lucy. She especially enjoyed attending their sports events. Mary married James Walter Rasnick in 1954 and to this union three children were born. Mary worked for 10 years at Brown Shoe in Ironton, Missouri. Mary was the mom who traveled to watch her daughter cheer and son play baseball. She tried to never miss a performance or game. Mary bowled on a league in her younger years and she liked to go fishing. You could find her outside working on the yard or her flowers from spring to fall and if she wasn't outside she was watching CNN. Mary spent many hours at the Cuba Senior Center playing pinochle. Jack Edmond Turnbough Jack Edmond Turnbough of Davisville, Missouri was born June 3, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to Oren James and Cecilia Rosebud Taylor Turnbough and passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the age of 69 years. On August 1, 1969 in Bridgeton, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Margie Faught Wedding and to this union two children were born. Jack was employed at General Motors for 30 years and retired in 1994. He also was a volunteer Berkeley reserve police officer for 10 years. Jack was a caring man who had a kindness in his heart for everyone that he met. He enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife and spent much of his time exploring places that were close to his Native American roots. Jack was a man that made the room small, he always thrilled those around him with a vibrant story; of which he seemed to have many. Jack lived a life that was full of love and adventure, something that is not to be forgotten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren and Cecilia Turnbough. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri for a short time then moved to Florida for 15 years. Later located in Sullivan, Missouri after retirement. Mary Ann was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 3897 of Sullivan, Missouri. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and quilting.
