Delbert was a graduate of John F. Hodge High School in St. James, Missouri. He served in the United States Army and served two tours in Vietnam earning the distinguished Bronze Star Medal. Returning home he married Jacqueline Laney on June 12, 1970. He went to work as a carpenter in the construction industry and he and Jacqueline settled into a small farm outside of town. Delbert enjoyed hunting and fishing. Delbert had an audio-graphic memory and was always fascinating his family and friends on remembering special dates, once he knew your birthday or other special day, he would never forget it. Glenn graduated from Strafford High School and then attended Southwest Missouri State College in Springfield, Missouri where he eventually earned his Specialist Degree. He served his country honorably during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy and in the Navy Reserves for 24 years. He married Nancy Bonita Camp on April 27, 1974 in Midway, Arkansas and to this union three children were born. He began his teaching and coaching career at Niangua School in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. His first principal position was at Stoutland Schools and then later was principal at Cuba Elementary School from 1988-1992. Glenn retired as principal and coach at Winfield Elementary School. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Cuba, Missouri. He also was a member of the Phi Delta Kappa, MSTA and MAESP. He loved sports especially the Yankees and admired Mickey Mantle. On May 27, 1956 he married Mary Wyatt in Steelville, Missouri by the Rev. Sam Roper and to this union six children were born. He worked for Cliff Miles Garage, Cuba Shoe Factory and later was a part of the paving crew for West Construction. After that he managed Sullivan Asphalt until retirement, at which time he worked in maintenance for the Crawford County Courthouse. He was a member of the Crawford County Fox and Wolf Hunting Association and also liked to deer hunt. He enjoyed volunteering with the local Meals on Wheels. He moved to Cuba, Missouri and spent his time reading Louis L'Amour westerns and working puzzles. He also loved watching the wildlife and taking care of his dogs. William Edward "Ed" Hamilton William Edward "Ed" Hamilton Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born December 11, 1931 at Cuba, Missouri to Herbert J. and Anna J. (nee Steffen) Hamilton and passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 83 years. Ed married Rosemary Menz on April 14, 1951 at Cuba, Missouri and to this union two sons were born. Ed started his working career as a farmer. He then worked in the ASC office for several years. In 1964 Ed became a Real Estate Broker and sold real estate until 1971. In 1972 Ed and Rosemary moved to Table Rock Lake. There they purchased a resort and in 1974 they retired and moved home to farm. Ed enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and gardening. He was excellent at woodworking. He made furniture, cabinets, cedar chests and fishing lures, to name a few, but he never sold anything. Instead he gave it all away. Ed and Rosemary spent nearly 64 years of marriage together and they did everything side by side. They were members of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Cuba for many years. On March 12, 2004, "Lee" married Thomas Koetting in Gulfport, Mississippi. Lee retired in 2012 with over 12 years in the construction business as a laborer. She enjoyed camping, dogs, time on the river and any and all gardening. Olive Helen Naramore Olive Helen Naramore of Salem, Missouri was born March 27, 1925 in High Gate, Missouri to Charles Edmond Davis and Mary Christena Satterfield and passed away March 17, 2015 at the age of 89 years. She married Vincent Dimmerling in 1944 and to this union two sons were born. Olive held down the home front while Vincent was defending our country in Europe during WWII. Vincent passed away in 1984. In 1987 she was united in marriage to Buell P. Naramore. Having never learned to drive Olive decided at age 40 it was probably something she needed to do, so she had her son Jim take her out in St. Louis to teach her how to drive. They pulled over in Tower Grove Park and Jim asked her to put it in gear and to start it up again, she reached up and grabbed the turning signal and completely pulled it off the steering column. Olive had an unusual ability to find four-leaf clovers. Olive loved to travel with her family, cooking and gardening. Funeral service was held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Salem, Missouri with Bro. Phil Newcom officiating. Memories were shared by brother Howard Young. Special music was provided by Jim Pryor and Pam Davis. Pallbearers were Thomas Young, Richard Young, Barry Pryor, Tyler Rose, Howard Young and Jerry LaRue. Interment was in the Boss Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements under the direction of the Wilson Mortuary in Salem, Missouri.
