Adams Jr. of Cuba, Missouri was born March 28, 1946 at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 68 years. Junior had polio at the age of three, but it didn't stop him. He worked several years at the Shelter Work Shop in St. Louis, Missouri. He had his own apartment, learned to cook for himself and he spent hours playing video games. Junior was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He kept ledgers on all the Cardinal Player stats. He knew the history of the team and every member that had ever played for the Cardinals. He collected baseball cards starting as a child. Junior was very good natured, always laughing and not shy. As Junior would say "I take life one day at a time." He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph E. Adams, Sr. and Veda L. Adams; three brothers, Michael, Brian and Gary Adams; one nephew, Daniel Adams; and brother-in-law, Melvin Makara. "Bill" Bahr was born on May 16, 1927 in St. Genevieve, Missouri to Martin and Anna (Bader) Bahr and passed away March 22, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Bill grew up in Chaffee, Missouri living with his Uncle Otto and Aunt Dora (Bader) Vessell. In January of 1945, Bill left his senior class early and joined the Navy. He served as a pharmacist's mate and was stationed in Iwo Jima. On May 14, 1949, he united in marriage to Bertha Ann Wulfers of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Bill, Bert and three sons moved to Rolla in 1952 and opened a retail furniture store. In the 60s, Bill and his cousin, Clyde Vessel, moved Vessel and Bahr Furniture to the corner of Sixth and Kingshighway in Rolla. Bill's life reflected many interests. Along with 40 years of retail furniture sales and other businesses, Bill was a farmer and introduced Simmental cattle, as well as, "thornless" blackberries to the area. His civic duties included Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus and he served on the Phelps County Regional Medical Center Hospital Board for several terms. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Anna Bahr; three brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Matthew Martin Bahr. Beverly Virginia Ann Bolte Beverly Virginia Ann Bolte of Gerald, Missouri, formerly Fenton, Missouri, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 21, 1930 to Benjamin Joseph and Gertrude Florence Reid (nee Reihl) and passed away March 10, 2015 at the age of 84 years, 11months and 19 days. On June 9, 1951, she was united in marriage to Edgar John Bolte. Beverly was a Christian, having been raised in the Catholic faith. During her working years, she had been employed by Schnucks Grocery. She began her career at the Sunset Hills location, then moved to the Fenton location and when she retired after 27 years of service to the company, she was working at the Arnold location. It was after retirement that Beverly made Gerald her home. She was an outdoors person at heart and she loved living on her farm. She was passionate about turkey hunting, but also enjoyed deer hunting and going frog gigging. She was an athletic person and had enjoyed swimming and golfing. Working in her yard gave her great joy and she spent the warmer months raising beautiful flowers and mowing her lawn. Beverly had a keen sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Gertrude Reid; husband, Edgar Bolte; and three brothers, Jimmy, Raymond and Rodger Reid. Warren served his country honorably in the United States Air Force entering in January 26, 1956. He was an aircraft maintenance instructor in Texas, then an aircraft mechanic with the 431st Fighter Interceptor Squadron stationed in Libya then in Spain. After his discharge, he married Betty Jane Witt on January 7, 1961 in Union, Missouri and they moved to Southern California where he was employed in the aerospace industry from 1962-1966. The family moved back to Missouri and Warren worked in the Mines south of Sullivan, Missouri then as a welder in the building of the Callaway Nuclear Plant. Warren and his three children lost their mother and his wife in 1993. He retired around 2006 from his most recent job at Brake Parts Manufacturing, Cuba, Missouri in maintenance. Warren was an avid hunter and fisherman for many years. He liked rebuilding various cars in which he usually would sell to use the proceeds for a family trip. Warren "Herman" to his close friend for more than 20 years, Fae Woodcock, "Dingy" spent many years together fishing and traveling. Warren knew Christ as his Savior and followed as a Baptist in his faith. He was a man from the old school of thought and did the best he could to take care of his family's needs. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Charlotte Byington; and his wife, Betty Jane Byington. She married Kermit "Larry" Garner on April 19, 1947. Martha was a graduate of Vienna High School. She also went to Beauty College. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune, cooking and baking pies. She and Larry loved to travel and would often make Las Vegas or Arizona home for the winter months. Martha was a member of the New Hope Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Elsie Bullock; brother, Jim Bullock; and sister, Helen Waldron. Devon Michael Hammock Devon Michael Hammock of Bourbon, Missouri, formerly of Cuba, Missouri, was born October 18, 1991 at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the age of 23 years. Devon attended Change of Heart Church in Cuba, Missouri for several years as a teenager. He played football for the Cuba Wildcats and he graduated from Cuba High School in 2010. Devon enjoyed going camping, floating, texting, taking selfies and working out. Devon spent hours playing X-box, video games, playing paint ball and riding quads. He could always be found at the basketball court hanging out with his friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James E. and Tammy Tinker, Jack and Alice Elledge and Vincent Adams. Sharon Lambing Sharon Lambing of Bourbon, Missouri was born at Sullivan, Missouri on Christmas day, 1938 to Amos and Nelva (Bacon) Reed and passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 76 years. She lived the majority of her life in the Sullivan and Bourbon, Missouri areas and was a cosmetologist for many years. On October 26, 1957 Sharon was married to Joseph Lambing at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, Missouri and to this marriage four daughters were born. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles of Sullivan and had held all offices in both the local and state fraternities. She enjoyed her many travels around the country being State President of the auxiliary. The Eagles where her main focus in life. Sharon was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus of Sullivan and was a member of Holy Martyrs of Japan Catholic Church. Turnbough of Mayflower, Arkansas was born September 3, 1935 in Viburnum, Missouri, to Earnest and Murl (Dunlap) Turnbough and passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the age of 79 years. Billy was a member of the Baptist faith. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Salem #225 Lodge, in Missouri. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and a retired Federal Mine Inspector. Billy was a huge Cardinals baseball fan and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks. Another favorite hobby was fishing and when asked by a judge where he caught all those fish, he replied with a gesture through his lip and said "in his upper lip." This was the kind of humor Billy was known for throughout his family. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Murl Turnbough; and several brothers and sisters.
