MO Local Obituaries for the Week of April 8, 2015 Patrick Michael Breen Patrick Michael Breen of Cuba, Missouri was born January 26, 1958 in St. Louis to John Patrick and Myrl (Block) Breen and passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the age of 57 years. He later married Sharon Young. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Cuba, Missouri. Patrick loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, Nascar and other professional sports. He enjoyed to travel and was an avid reader. Patrick served his country is the US Marine Corps and worked as an engineer on the Mississippi river boats. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Myrl Breen; two sisters, Debbie Breen and Jackie Breen; two brothers-in-law, Tom Young and Bill E. Young. He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; six children, Sean Patrick Breen and wife Sarah of West Point, New York, David Gutknecht and friend Faith of Steelville, Missouri, Matthew Gillam and friend Jenn of Steelville, Missouri, Corrine Fugitt and husband Scott of Clever, Missouri, Dana Horton and husband Keith of Steelville, Missouri and Melissa Cook and husband Mark of S teelville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Emily Kelly and husband David, Madeline Cook, Eric Horton, Gwen Cook, Trenton Whittaker, Bella Whittaker, Deagan Fugitt, Zan Fugitt, Kristen Fugitt, James Breen, and Olivia Breen; two brothers, John Breen of Stanton, Missouri and Robert Breen and wife Jane of Columbia, Missouri; five sisters, Marcia Loveless of Potosi, Missouri, Denise Dickey and husband Steve of St. Clair, Missouri, Mary Bouse of St. Louis, Missouri, Maureen Chlipla and husband Mike of Sullivan, Missouri and Janice Crews and husband John of Richmond, Virginia; two sisters-in-law, Carol Young and Susan Adams and husband Mike; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Eaton Funeral Home. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Eaton Funeral Home Chapel with Father Rich Boever officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Bourbon, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home. Carol Sue Davis Carol Sue Davis of Sullivan, Missouri was born on July 4, 1953 to Raymond E. and Ruth E. (McCune) Davis and passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 61 years. Carol enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family and Mallory, her three legged dog. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Don, Bill and Archie. She is survived by one son, Raymond E. Jerry Lee Kennedy Jerry Lee Kennedy of Belleville, Illiniois was born August 21, 1926 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to Percy and Helen Kennedy and passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 10 days. Jerry married Dorothy J. Howell on July 28, 1957 in Bluford, Illinois. Jerry was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He worked as a United Parcel Service (UPS) driver and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Helen Kennedy; and wife, Dorothy on August 10, 2012. Lesa Walker Lesa Walker (nee Volner) of Cook Station, Missouri was born on Tuesday, November 7, 1961 in Kimball, Nebraska to James Oscar and Tessie Jane (Midyett) Volner and passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 22 days. Lesa married Kevin Walker on February 14, 1981 in Steelville, Missouri at the First Assembly of God Church and to this union two children were born. She was employed at San Val in Steelville, Missouri for a few years and worked more than 10 years at MO Ozark's Community Action (Headstart) in Steelville and in Cuba. Lesa loved to decorate on the holidays and entertain friends with a fish fry or BBQ. She also, enjoyed fishing. She loved children and was dedicated in making a difference in their lives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Corby and Dora Midyett; infant brother, Kevin Volner; father Oscar Volner; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Walker. Sylvia Caroline White Sylvia Caroline White of Cuba, Missouri was born October 2, 1938 at Cuba, Missouri to James and Lillian (nee Hartung) Cameron and passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the age of 76 years. Sylvia was united in marriage to Ronald E. "Frank" White on November 10, 1956 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cuba and to this union three children were born. Sylvia retired as a shift supervisor from the Meramec Group in Sullivan, Missouri. Sylvia was a devout member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and volunteered many hours at the church helping with different programs and church dinners. Sylvia also volunteered at the Food Pantry and the Cuba Senior Center. Sylvia enjoyed playing bingo, cards, computer games, Facebook and going to the boat.She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Cameron; one brother, Chester Cameron; three sisters, Rachael Kirby, Juanita and husband Lynn Gray and Wanda May Woodruff; brothers-in-law, Tom, Donald, Leon and wife Barbara, Bob and Vernon White.
