Jeanne Shirley Kitchen
Jeanne Shirley Kitchen was born December 29, 1931 to
Herman William and Olive Mae (Watson) Kitchen of Leasburg, Missouri
and passed away April 3, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother,
Herman Jr. and sister, Olive Crowder.
She is survived by brothers, Russell, Melvin and Dale;
sisters, Cora Ludwig and Marjory Butler, nieces, nephews and
cousins.
At her request, burial was without services in a small
cemetery overlooking Salida, Colorado, where she resided for most of
her adult life.
John G. McGuire
John G. McGuire of Cuba, Missouri was born Thursday,
February 15, 1945 at St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Ray McGuire
and Lula (nee Tucker) McGuire and passed away Monday, April 2, 2007
at Rolla, Missouri at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 17 days.
John was united in marriage to Judy Britton in 1971 at
Cuba, Missouri and to this union four children were born.
He worked as a trash truck driver in Cuba for many
years. He enjoyed motorcycles, painting, writing music, singing
Elvis songs but what he loved most was his family and it was his
wish that he could have always been home with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one infant
daughter, Lori McGuire; three brothers, Fred, James and Earl
McGuire, other relatives and friends.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Clint and Steve
McGuire of Rolla, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy McGuire of Rolla,
Missouri; three sisters, Loretta Garrett of Cuba, Missouri, Sonya
and husband Marvin, Sr. Collier of St. Louis, Missouri, and Wanda
McGinnis of Chesterfield, Missouri; seven brothers-in-law, and six
sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held Saturday, April 7, 2007 from 11 a.m.
until 1 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7,
2007 at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri with Rev. Mark Smith
officiating.
Special music for the service was “In the Garden” sang
by Loretta Garrett and “Amazing Grace” and “How Great Thou Art” by
Elvis. Family members served as pallbearers. Burial at Meramec Hills
Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Britton
Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri.
Donna Faye Willhite
Donna Faye Chandler Willhite was born Saturday, December
27, 1941 in Salem, Missouri to the late Autta and Hattie Dobson
Chandler passed away March 19, 2007 near Fort Worth, Texas.
Donna was a retired nurse’s assistant. She attended the
New Life Out Reach Assembly of God Church, loved spending time with
family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother,
Norman Chandler; brothers-in-law, Elmer Pyatt, Lawrence Strickland,
Gene Dicus, Bill Caulder; sister-in-law, Marie Jelineck and husband
Frank.
She is survived by a daughter, Mellisa Martinez and
husband Mark of Texas; four grandchildren, Zane, Tristan, Alexis and
Gavin; brothers and sisters, Geraldine Dicus, Betty Copeland and
husband Don, Rosie Caulder, Lottie Pyatt Holland and husband
Earnest, Bertha Carrick and husband Fred, Montie Chandler and wife
Etta, and Don Chandler and wife Fay; nieces, nephews, cousins and
many friends.
Visitation was held Monday, March 26, 2007 from 10 a.m.
until service time at 11 a.m. at the Hutson Funeral Home in
Steelville, Missouri.
Memorial service was Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11 a.m.
at the Hutson Funeral Chapel in Steelville, Missouri with Brother
Bob Coleman officiating. Bob and Carol Coleman sang “Amazing Grace”
and “I’ll Fly Away.”
All arrangements were under the direction of the Hutson
Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
