She was united in marriage on July 2, 2008 in St. James, Missouri to Christopher Boyd. Tammy raised six girls that always keep her busy, but still had time to keep up with others. She could have been thought of the founder of Facebook, because she always made sure others were taken care of. Henry Jackson Bradley III Henry Jackson Bradley III from Hot Springs, Arkansas (formerly of Steelville, Missouri) was born on Friday, July 30, 1948 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jackson II and passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 1 day. Henry attended Missouri School of Mines-Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology) where he met Sharon Lynn Lewis who he later married. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and airshows. He and his wife were in a club devoted to deer hunting. He enjoyed collecting arrowheads, and watching Little Rock, Arkansas Minor League Baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry J ackson II. Sharon Lynn Bradley Sharon Lynn Bradley (nee Lewis) from Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Steelville, Missouri was born on Wednesday, May 30, 1945 in Cuba, Missouri to Earl Griffin "Nippy" and Caroline "Carrie" Lewis and passed away on October 27, 2014 at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 27 days. Sharon attended Missouri School of Mines-Rolla (now called Missouri University of Science and Technology) where she met Henry Bradley III who she later married. She was a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and airshows. She and her husband were in a club devoted to deer hunting. Filippi Joseph F. Filippi of Davisville, Missouri was born to Joseph and Anna Theresa (Schaljo) Filippi on December 6, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Joseph was united in marriage to Carol L. Todd on January 26, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Joseph owned and operated South County Shoe Repair in the South County Mall in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and was very active with the Boy Scouts of America for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Anna (Schaljo) Filippi. He is survived by his wife, Carol L. Filippi of Davisville, Missouri; three children, James Filippi of St. Clair, Missouri, Joseph E. Walter Joseph Lorenz Walter Joseph Lorenz of Cherryville, Missouri was born March 10, 1935 at St. Louis, Missouri to Walter J. and Margaret (nee Mundwiller) Lorenz and passed away on Monday, April 4, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Walter worked in construction for 37 years and has farmed his whole life. Walter spent many days going to auctions to purchase cows and horses. Walter was born and raised Catholic. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church in Steelville, Missouri until a few years ago when his health started declining. Walter enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and in his younger years dancing. Walter followed politics and always wanted to talk about his political party and candidate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter J. and Margaret Lorenz; one daughter, Teri Metts; one brother, Harry Pflanz; and one brother-in-law, Dale Schmidt. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion of the Davisville Post. Mel worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 10 years and was a truck driver and at Voss Truck Stop for several years. He always enjoyed tinkering with motorcycles and also drawing and reading in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Russell and Helen Hammers. June worked several years at the So-Good Potato Chip Company, St. Louis, Missouri and later was a babysitter. enjoyed embroidering. She attended First Assembly of God Church in St. James, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Della Woelfer; brother, William L. Woelfer; and sisters, Helen (Edgar) Schmitt and Doris Shellum. Soper and Hazel (Faulkner) Shelton and passed away on March 30, 2016 at the age of 58 years, 2 months and 22 days of age. On April 17, 1985, in Vienna, Missouri, Terry was united in marriage to Diana Roetto. Terry was a veteran of the US Navy. He was on major command on the USS ALAMO. After returning from his service in the Navy, he was employed in the timber business as a logger. Ethel Laverne Tongay Ethel Laverne Tongay of Collinsville, Illnois was born on April 22, 1929 to George O. and Vernice C. Furlong Broy at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Laverne as she was known by her family and friends grew up in St. Louis, Missouri area. On April 22, 1950 Laverne was united in marriage to Paul C. Tongay. Laverne was employed by Carter Carburetor for over 20 years as an inspector but her main vocation in life was of a wife and mother. From 1976 until 1987 Paul and Laverne made their home in the Bourbon and Sullivan, Missouri area. Paul passed away in 1986 and Laverne moved back to Collinsville to be near her family. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting, working cross word puzzles and was an avid Cardinals Baseball Fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Vernice Broy; her husband, Paul; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and four siblings, Richard "Buddy" Broy, William "Bill" Broy, Audrey Noe and Mary Broy.
