MO Local Obituaries for the Week of April 23, 2008 Frank “Buzz” Stephen Eickhoff Frank S. “Buzz” Eickhoff of Cuba, Missouri was born on Saturday, January 30, 1932 at Loose Creek, Missouri to the union of Frank J. and Hazel (nee McDermott) Eickhoff and passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 at his residence in Cuba, Missouri at the age of 76 years, 2 months and 18 days. Buzz worked in the maintenance department of Axelson Manufacturing Company, located in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making all flavors of homemade wine, collecting Indian artifacts and little replicas of cars. He spent lots of time with his dog “Princess,” his cat “Kitty Cat” and his horse. He enjoyed drawing pictures of animals and eating White Castles. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Margaret Ball; one brother- in-law, Donald Ball and other relatives. He is survived by three children, David and wife Serena Eickhoff of Kansas City, Missouri, Pat Souders of Cuba, Missouri and Frank Eickhoff; two brothers, Donald and wife Barbara Eickhoff of Eldon, Missouri and Joseph and wife Linda Stimpel of Jefferson City, Missouri; one sister, Helen and husband Paul Keilholz of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri and Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 10-11 a.m. at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, Missouri. Funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Morton Funeral Home with Rev. I.C. Medina officiating. Special music for the service will be “Ava Maria,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Be Not Afraid.” Interment followed at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Loose Creek, Missouri. Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Louis “Luke” E. House Louis E. “Luke” House of Cuba, Missouri was born to the union of Louis A. and Ida Mae (Fatka) House on Thursday, May 31, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri and passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at his home at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 18 days. Luke was united marriage to Kathy Thomas December 27, 1969 in Ballwin, Missouri and to this union two children were born. He retired from the Chrysler Plant in Fenton as an Assembly Line Worker after many years of dedicated service. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of V.F.W. Post #7147 and had helped with the Cuba Ball Program. He was an avid Cardinals fan and enjoyed fishing, hunting, his cows, tractor and his dog named Buford. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Michael House and one sister, Jacqulyn House. He is survived by his wife, of Cuba, Missouri; one son, Bob House of Bourbon, Missouri; one daughter, Tracey and husband Ron Hughes of Cuba, Missouri; one brother, Leonard and wife Barbara House of Cuba, Missouri; father-in-law, Dave and wife Pat Thomas of Ballwin, Missouri; mother-in-law, Violet and husband Larry Farris of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 3-8 p.m. at Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Missouri. Funeral was Monday, April 21, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Britton Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Schanbacher, officiating. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri with full military honors. Arrangements under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri. Robert W. Oberkramer Robert W. Oberkramer of Bourbon, Missouri was born on January 7, 1932 at St. Louis, Missouri to William F. and Pearl G. (Gregory) Oberkramer and passed away Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the age of 76 years. He was raised in the St. Louis area for a time and later grew up in the Pacific, Missouri area. He honorably served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army. He worked for a time at National Bearing Company and later was employed at the former McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Company as a shop foreman. He retired from there after 35 years of service to the company. On January 22, 1954, Robert was united in marriage to Mary Ann Rhoads at Eureka, Missouri and to this marriage two sons were born. He found pleasure in deer hunting as well as hunting squirrel and rabbit. In his free time, Robert enjoyed building scale model boats and collecting baseball cards. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert Oberkramer and wife Jan of Pacific, Missouri and Scott Oberkramer and wife Tracy of Bourbon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert, Scottie, Richie and Kacie; four great grandchildren, Payton, Brooke, Addie and Isabella; one brother, David Oberkramer of California; three sisters, Mary “Sis” Poppe of Chesterfield, Missouri, Lillian Horton of Desoto, Missouri and Carol Oberkramer; other relatives and friends. Private funeral services will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, Missouri.
