Terry Wayne Douglas Sr.
Terry Wayne Douglas Sr. was born December 8, 1951 in Annapolis, Missouri to
William and Mayme (Worley) Douglas and passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013
at the St. James Veteran Home in St. James, Missouri at the age of 61 years,
4 months and 15 days.
After serving in the Marines he was an over the road truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mayme Douglas; daughter,
Angela Douglas and granddaughter, Melissa Boyd.
He is survived by his children, Crissi Olear, Tina Boyd, and Terry Wayne Jr.,
of St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara Barton and Angie Burke, of Jefferson County,
Ginny Ersery and husband Dan of Hannibal Missouri and Tiffany Brooks of
Farmington, Missouri; brothers and sisters, Shirley Berger and husband Rick
of St. Louis, Missouri, Bill Douglas and wife Marilyn of Hillsboro, Missouri,
Charles Douglas and wife Grace of Festus, Missouri, Virginia Waites and
husband Melvin of Salem, Missouri and Gary Douglas and wife Janice of Festus,
Missouri; grandchildren, Amber Lockwood, James Boyd Jr., James Wilson, Tanya
Barton, Rachel Barton, Shawn Boyd Jr., Devin Burke, Joshua Burke, Kevin Burke,
Hannah Douglas, and Peyton Brooks; great grandchildren, Anthony Lockwood,
Noah Burke, and Cameran Campbell; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Kutis Funeral Home in
St. Louis, Missouri.
Music was provided by recorded selections and nephew Rick White of Bonne
Terre, Missouri.
Pallbearers were James Boyd Jr., James Wilson, Shaun Burke Jr., Devin Burke,
Ivan White Jr., Frank Waites, Scott Douglas and Jerry Douglas. Honorary
pallbearers were Joshua Burke and Kevin Burke.
Interment was at the Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Alma “Sue” Lowe
Alma “Sue” Lowe of Raytown, Missouri, formerly of St. James, Missouri and
Virginia Beach, Virginia was born in Tipton, Missouri on January 26, 1918
to Edward and Christina (Franken) Thiel and passed away on April 4, 2012 at
the Kansas City Hospice House at the age of 95 years.
Sue was untied in marriage to Leo K. Lowe on April 29, 1939.
She loved to sew and quilt, and was fortunate to turn her passion into not
only a hobby, but also a career. Sue worked for several manufacturing
facilities including California Manufacturing Co. in St. James, as a
sewing machine operator and supervisor.
In her spare time she made beautiful quilts and sewed for her family and
friends.
Sue was a devout Catholic and was a longtime member of the Catholic Church.
She loved her family and friends, and looked forward to time she could
spend with her son and his family and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Christina Thiel; her
husband Leo and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Larry Lowe and his wife Cookie of Virginia
Beach, Virginia; sister, Katie Jones of Palmdale, California; grandchildren,
Keith Lowe, of Arlington, Virginia, Roybn Lowe, of Virginia Beach, Virginia
and Rene Lowe, of Arlington, Virginia; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the
St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church in St. James, Missouri with Father Lewis Nelen
officiating.
Arrangements under the direction of the James & Gahr Mortuary, St. James,
Missouri.
Phyllis Ann McCoy
Phyllis Ann McCoy nee Baker of Rolla, Missouri, formerly of Cook Station,
Missouri, was born on Saturday, August 26, 1939 in Cook Station, Missouri
to Murvin and Blanche Bertha Kessler Baker and passed away at Cuba Manor
on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 1 day.
She was employed as the Director of Human Resources at the University of
Missouri, (UMR) Rolla, MO for 40 years, retiring in 2008. Phyllis enjoyed
cooking, but she especially liked traveling and spending time at her condo
in Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murvin and Blanche Baker.
She is survived by her children, Keith McCoy of St. Louis, Missouri, Martha
McCoy of Rolla, Missouri, Debbie (Dan) Hickey of St. James, Missouri and
Teresa (Audie) Stillwell of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Beth (Todd)
Houf of Kingdom City, Missouri, Beau (Abbie) Moreland of St. James,
Missouri, Brittany Moreland of Monterey, California, Crystal Hickey of
Olathe, Kansas, Ashley (Cameron) Langley of Shawnee, Kansas, Leanna Hickey
of St. James, Missouri, Alton Stillwell, IV and Alex Stillwell, all of
St. Louis, Missouri; great grandchildren, Paul Houf, Dawson Houf, Zeke and
Zane Moreland; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 and a Hawaiian-themed
Memorial Service will be Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Delmar Hutson officiating.

Betty J. Roberts
Betty J. Roberts nee Bass of Steelville, Missouri was born on Monday,
April 18, 1938 in Wickliffe, Kentucky to Fred James and Myrtle Marie
Stallion Bass and passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at the age of
75 years and 4 days.
Betty was a caregiver for many years in health care working with the
elderly and handicapped people. She enjoyed working in her flower garden
and crocheting. She even crocheted caps for the Steelville preschool for
the last two years and was hoping to make it a tradition. She was ordained
in the Gospel Ministry on July 22, 1990 at the Association known as
Christ Spiritual Rock Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Edward Todd;
son-in-law, Neil Christopher Jr.; brothers and sisters, James Edward,
Wilbur Allen, Luke Estelle, William Fredrick, George Thomas and Joseph
Oneal Bass, Mattie Jane Wilson and Zada Irene Bass.
She is survived by her children, Becky (Bryan) Hudson of Afton, Missouri,
Mike (Donna) Todd of Sullivan, Missouri, Gwen (Frank Nowland) Christopher
of Cuba, Missouri, Michelle (Ted Roskowske) Todd of Sullivan, Missouri and
Teresa (Mortey) Smith of Steelville, Missouri; sister, Jeanette (Charles)
Snow of La Center, Kentucky and Phyllis Morton of Union, Missouri; 27
grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. and funeral service
on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Hutson Funeral Home, Steelville,
Missouri with Rev. Joyce King officiating.

Ralph A. Roster
Ralph A. Roster of St. James, Missouri was born June 23, 1921 in St. James,
Missouri to Henry and Irene (Snelson) Roster and passed away Thursday,
April 25, 2013 at the Missouri Veterans Home in St. James, Missouri at the
age of 91 years.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII
from 1942-1946.
He was united in marriage to Viola Laycock on September 5, 1942 and to
this union three children were born.
Ralph was a member of the First Church of God in St. James for many years
and until his health did not permit was always a very active member. He
also enjoyed volunteering in the church and community and enjoyed helping
others. His hobbies included fishing, deer hunting, and working on the farm.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Irene Roster; his wife,
Viola in 2000; brothers, Randy and Raymond Roster.
He is survived by his children, Arthur Roster of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma,
Wanda Roster of Wildwood, Missouri, and Norma Wlos and husband Paul of
Sanibel, Florida; brother, Harold Roster of Eldon, Missouri; sisters,
Clara Venable of Dupo, Illinois, Betty Brant and husband Victor of
St. Clair, Missouri, Harriet Sedlacek of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania;
grandchildren, Kris Mears and Paula Wlos; two great grandchildren; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, April 29, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at the Chapel.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the St. James Chapel
of the James & Gahr Mortuary at 10 a.m. with Pastor Don Carson officiating.
Interment with full Military Honors followed at the St. James Cemetery.

Clarence William Sieg
Clarence William Sieg of Rolla, Missouri was born on November 4, 1940 in
Peoria, Illinois to Walter and Francis (Ferrall) Sieg and passed away
Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the age of 72 years.
On September 29, 1965, he married Addie Jane Woolsey.Clarence was a veteran
of the U.S. Navy having served from 1960-1964. He was a member of the Cuba
Masonic Lodge. He retired as Postmaster in Sikeston, Missouri and also
served as an officer for the Rolla City Police Department. Clarence loved
traveling and spending time with friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Francis Sieg; his
brother, Leonard Sieg, and two sisters, Opal Krote and Mary Sieg.
He is survived by his wife, Addie Sieg of Rolla, Missouri; two daughters,
Pamela Sieg of Rolla, Missouri and Kathy Daniel and husband Gerald of
Oakland, Tennessee; one son, James Sieg and girlfriend Jeannie Watkins of
Cuba, Missouri; two brothers, Donald Sieg and wife Leona of Rolla, Missouri
and John Sieg and wife Beverly of Salem, Missouri; sisters, Irene Eagle
and husband Paul Sr. of St. James, Missouri, Vivian Boccardo and husband
Robert of Mesa, Arizona, Mildred Stockton and husband Delbert of Apache
Junction, Arizona and Betty Williams of Rolla, Missouri; three grand-
children, Chad Daniel, Melissa Petermann and Jeremy Sieg; five great
grandchildren;
A visitation was held prior to the service beginning at noon at the
funeral home.
A funeral service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the
Null and Son Funeral Home of Rolla, Missouri with Rev. Dennis Bowman
officiating.
Interment with military honors followed in the Ozark Hills Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Null and Son Funeral Home of
Rolla, Missouri.
Alfred Louis Wagner
Alfred Louis Wagner of Vienna, Missouri was born July 1, 1919 to Clarence
Emery and Ella Martha (Koerber) Wagner and passed away April 23, 2013 at
the age of 93 years.
On June 18, 1942 he married Pauline Leach in Norborne, Missouri.
Alfred served in the Army Air Force, European Theater during World War II.
He received three bronze stars and received the rank of First Sergeant. He
worked at Quaker Window Products in Freeburg, Missouri but his main
occupation was farming. Alfred Wagner was a member of Vienna Masonic
Lodge #94; Rainbow Chapter 263 OES; Big Spring Lodge #237 I.O.O.F.,
St. James, Missouri; Rolla York Rite, Rolla, Missouri; Valley of Columbia
Scottish Rite, Columbia, Missouri, and Abou Ben Adhem Shriners, Springfield,
Missouri. Alfred was a member of the American Legion Post 12, Vienna,
Missouri. And the Vienna United Methodist Church, Vienna, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Barbara; his parents,
Clarence and Ella Wagner; three sisters: Gladys Wagner, Rosetta (Wagner)
Williams and Elsie (Wagner) Whalen.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Leach) Wagner; children, Owen and
Bev Wagner of Linn, Missouri, Don and Janice Branson of Marthasville,
Missouri, Gilbert and Joanne (Waterman) Rios of Ashburn, Virginia, Janell
Henry of St Joseph, Missouri, Wesley and Jane (Koch) Honse Vienna,
Missouri, Eric and Janet Johnson of Vienna, Missouri and Everett and
Debbie Wagner of Vienna, Missouri; 18 grandchildren, Randall and Debbie
Wagner, Jason and Kimberly Wagner, Kevin and Christine (Waterman) Gobble,
Benjamin and Devra Waterman, Joshua and Shayna (Henry) Bryant, Gretchen
(Koch) Bradford, John and Sara (Koch) Martin, Andrew Koch, Kyle and Laura

United Methodist Church.
Funeral service was Friday, April 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Vienna
United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Hargraves officiating.
Hymns “Whispering Hope,” “Master’s Bouquet” and “Unclouded Day” were sang
and played for the funeral.
The Patroit Guard Riders of South Central Missouri escorted the funeral
procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Josh Wagner, Randy Wagner, Jason Wagner,
Ethan Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Johnson, Benjamin Waterman and Andrew
Koch. Military Honors were provided at the Radar Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home in St. James,
Missouri.
