Dunakey of Cuba, Missouri, formerly of St. Charles County, Missouri, was born to Jesse and Pearl (Yarbrough) Shults on November 3, 1925 in Sullivan, Missouri and passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Elsie was united in marriage to Charles Dunakey on May 30, 1942 in Kirkwood, Missouri and to this union six children were born. Elsie was a Licensed Practical Nurse, having worked at Faith Hospital in Creve Coeur, Missouri for several years. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, bowling, playing cards, cross stitch, needle work, cooking and was known for her homemade soup. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Pearl Shults; husband, Charles Dunakey; two sons, Jerry and John Dunakey; and one brother, Fred Shults. She is survived by her four children, Joyce and husband Ralph Green of St. James, Missouri, Janice Wolf of St. Charles, Missouri, Joseph and wife Lisa Dunakey of Wright City, Missouri, Jeffrey and wife Susan Dunakey of Wildwood, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church in Chesterfield, Missouri. Funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Green, officiating. Interment followed at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Martha Eleanor Greer Martha Eleanor Greer of Cuba, Missouri was born March 19, 1918 at St. Louis, Missouri to Robert E. and Martha Abby (nee Schaub) Hunter and passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the age of 97 years. Eleanor graduated from the Normandy High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Mancefield Greer on June 26, 1937 at St. Louis, County and to this union four children were born. Eleanor spent her life taking care of her home and her family. She was an excellent cook and baker. Her specialties were roast, apple pie and cherry pie. Eleanor spent hours quilting, embroidering and watching game shows. Eleanor and Mancefield became members of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church when they moved to Cuba, Missouri in 1976. Eleanor served as a Ladies Aide and a greeter for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Martha Hunter; husband, Mancefield Greer; one son, Thomas Greer; sister, Helen Heller; brothers-in-law, Albert, Virgil and Eugene Greer; and sister-in-law, Lillian Lucille Greer. She is survived by her children, Gail and husband Jim Hollingsworth of Woodlands, Texas, Ronald Greer of Cuba, Missouri and Betty and husband Larry Tiemann of St. Louis, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Jess Hubert Jr. Jess Hubert Jr. of Rolla, Missouri was born in Steelville, Missouri on January 10, 1952 to Jess Hubert Sr. and Iva (Tindall) Hubert and passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the age of 63 years. On June 14, 1971 he married Donna Roxann Hinds. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess Sr. and Iva Hubert; wife, Donna on January 16, 2009; a son, Robert Hubert; one daughter, Angela Kay Hubert; and one brother, John Hubert. Ola Everett Jones Ola Everett Jones of Sullivan, Missouri was born at St. James, Missouri on January 21, 1933 to Roy and Ruth (Matlock) Jones and passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the age of 82 years. He was raised there and at the age of 17 enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He honorably served his country during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. Ola was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. Upon his discharge he returned to Louisiana where he worked briefly with the United States Geological Service. Ola soon after, met his first wife Joan in Missouri and after their marriage worked in St. Louis, Missouri at General Mills and later with ESSEX Cryogenics. Ola and Joan then moved to the Bourbon, Missouri area where they owned and operated Hidden Acres and Redwood Manor Care Facilities. Joan passed away May of 2010. On March 7, 2011 he married Carolyn McGeorge at Decatur, Illinois. Ola enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool, horse, and bird hunting. He always had a story to tell and enjoyed the fellowship of his many friends. Ola was baptized and received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruth Jones; his first wife Joan; and two brothers, Roy and Larry Jones. He is survived by his wife Carolyn of the family home; three sons, Tim Jones and wife Michelle of Bourbon, Missouri, Tracy Jones and wife Christie and Todd Jones and wife Christa, all of Sullivan, Missouri; one daughter, Tammy Daniels and husband Dennis of Roxboro, North Carolina; one sister, Almeta Williams of Bourbon, Missouri; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Carl Arthur Kuelker Carl Arthur Kuelker of Rolla, Missouri was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 6, 1947 to Edward and Norma (Holk) Kuelker and passed away April 16, 2015 at the age of 68 years. On June 6, 1970 he married Mary Ingram. He retired from the Dept. of Natural Resources where he worked in the maintenance department. Carl enjoyed talking to people and always made time for a good conversation. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and the companionship of his dog, Rowdy. Susan Marle Parry Susan Marie Parry of rural St. James, Missouri was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 10, 1924 to Allen Martin Stemmons Sr. and Mary Leah (Preston) Stemmons and passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the age of 90 years. On April 27, 1950 she married Ivan Parry. Susan moved to Rolla, Missouri in 1949 where she met her husband, Ivan, on a blind date. She worked as a bookkeeper for Powell Lumber Company and Tucker Dairy. After marriage, Susan kept the family business accounts for Parry Charcoal Company and Parry Hereford Farms. She was a 50 plus member of First Presbyterian Church in Rolla, Missouri and the Show-Me Homemakers Extension Club. Susan also participated in the Busy Bee Quilters Club as well as the Plant and Pray Garden Club. Susan was a member of the area gospel group the Parry Quartet which included Ivan and his brother Ira and wife Ruth Parry. She preserved years of garden produce for her family and was an avid quilter and seamstress. Susan spent her retirement years traveling the world with her dear friend Pearl Zolder and enjoyed countless hours on the Rolla Public Schools bleachers watching her grand- children in sports. She wrote weekly notes of encouragement to friends and family. There was not a crossword, sudoku, or wheel of fortune puzzle she couldn't solve. Most importantly, Susan's love of Christ was evident. She was preceded in death her parents, Allen and Mary Stemmons Sr; husband, Ivan on August 27, 1985; and one brother, Allen Martin Stemmons Jr. and his wife Vivian Stemmons. She is survived by two children, Wayne Parry and wife Jo Lynn of Rolla, Missouri and Mary Beth Pogue and husband Denny of St. James, Missouri; one brother, Kenneth Preston Stemmons and wife Barbara of Galena, Missouri; six grandchildren, Sarah Myers and husband Paul of Lubbock, Texas, Rachel Smith and husband Danniger of Savoy, Illinois, Caleb Parry and wife Brittany of Springfield, Missouri, Leah Parry of Rolla, Missouri, Orin Pogue and wife Liz of Camdenton, Missouri and Adrian Pogue of Columbia, Missouri; other relatives and friends. Raymond Leroy Parsons Raymond Leroy Parsons of St. James, Missouri was born on November 14, 1952 in St. James, Missouri to Raymond and June Mitchell Parsons and passed away April 29, 2015 at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 15 days. Raymond Parsons loved to work on computers and be with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and June Mitchell Parsons; one brother, Donnie Parsons; and one brother-in-law, John Light. Lester Sanders Lester Sanders of Sullivan, Missouri was born July 10, 1941 at Potosi, Missouri to Elmer F. and Dorothy Rodgers Sanders and passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the age of 73 years. He was employed as a millwright in the construction industry. Lester was an outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and gardening. He loved horses and was known as a man who could fix anything. Lester enjoyed retirement. Most of all he loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorotju Sanders; daughter, Leslie Renee Wright; and three brothers, Russell, Thomas and Robert Sanders.
