MO Local Obituaries for the Week of May 8, 2019 Mary Ann Asbury-Hill Mary Ann Asbury-Hill (nee Hale) of Steelville, Missouri was born on Monday, December 2, 1957 in West Plains, Missouri to Alvin Norman William and Carrie Effie Roberson Hale and passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 29 days. Mary Ann attended Gratiot Schools in St. Louis, Missouri and was a baton twirler. She married Mark Anthony Hill on March 17, 1993, Fenton, Missouri. Mary Ann worked for many years as a factory worker at R&F Spaghetti and then Bordens. She enjoyed playing Play Station, especially Haunted Mansion and baking with her grandkids. She used to love to fish with her husband, lately enjoyed watching TV and spending time with her dog, Taz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Sr. and Carrie Hale; husband, Mark Hill; mother-in-law, Betty Berra; sister-in-law, Collette Hale; great grandson, Chandler Werley; and nephew, Alvin Gene Hale. Billy Eugene Decker Billy Eugene Decker of Gerald, Missouri was born on August 20, 1934 to Oliver and Ruby (Butler) Decker at Bland, Missouri and passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the age of 84 years. He married Nancy Vaughn on November 29, 1974 at Bland, Missouri. Billy served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bland, Missouri. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, his dog, and pitching horseshoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Ruby Decker; brother, Charles Decker; sisters, Helen Berniece Ruffner, Shera Fleischmann, Betty Lou Thompson, Erline Vincent, and Edith Decker in infancy; and great granddaughter, Summer Miller. Orville Edward Gibson Orville Edward Gibson of St. James, Missouri was born on January 10, 1961 in Rolla, Missouri to Junior Ernest and Minnie Fanger Sieber and passed on May 1, 2019 at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 21 days. Orville was a quiet person who enjoyed being around his family. He was known as "Tink" when he was young because he loved to tinker with things. Orville grew up in St. James, Missouri and worked for Larry Davis as a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed gardening and loved to go fishing and be outdoors. He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Ernest Gibson. Joyce Elaine Hudson Joyce Elaine Hudson (nee Hurley) of Steelville, Missouri was born October 21, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Rhonda Blankenship Hurley and passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 9 days. Joyce was married on December 8, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri to Cecil L. Hudson. Joyce attended the Cherryville Church of God when her health allowed. She always enjoyed crocheting, watching Jimmy Swaggart on TV and visiting with friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rhonda Hurley; husband, Cecil Hudson; one daughter, Marilyn Wilson; and sisters and brother, Verna Yates, Linda Spence and Stan Hurley.
