Billy Bobby Courtway
Billy Bobby Courtway of Cadet, Missouri was born on April 20, 1947 at
Vineland, Missouri to Joseph and Alba (Bequette) Courtway and passed away
April 26, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital at the age of 64 years and 6 days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alba Courtway; two
brothers, Homer Courtway and David Courtway; four sisters, Beulah Shelton,
Virginia Dobbs, Betty Evans and Doni Dobbs.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Courtway of Cadet, Missouri; son,
Billy L. Courtway and wife Bonnie of Florida; daughter, Corinna Desmond
of Sullivan, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Courtway and wife Linda of Cadet,
Missouri and Clinton Courtway of Cadet, Missouri; three sisters, Helen Dobbs
of Cadet, Missouri, Genevive Dobbs of Cadet, Missouri and Linda Dobbs and
husband Larry of Steelville, Missouri; eight grandchildren; other relatives
and friends.
A Memorial service was held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at DeClue
Funeral Home.
Arrangements under the direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
Travis Martin Cox
Travis Martin Cox of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, formerly of Belle, Missouri, was
born in Rolla, Missouri on May 9, 1981 to Lyndon and JoAnn Cox. He passed
away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the age of 29 years.
Travis loved to hunt, fish and ride his horse Bo.
He was engaged to Angie Nachtigal of Wisconsin.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Hershel Reed; grandparents,
Jesse Skaggs, Emery and Mary Ferrell, Arthur and Alice Cox and nephew, Seth
Lyndon Champney.
He is survived by his parents, JoAnn Skaggs of St. James, Missouri and
Lyndon Cox of Belle, Missouri; five children, Marashae, Andrew and Dalton
Cox of Bourbon, Missouri and Jayden and Trinity Cox of Wonewoc, Wisconsin;
two sisters, Katina Champney of St. James, Missouri and Mary Schlicker of
Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Justin Cox of Belle, Missouri and Curtis Cox
of Peoria, Illinois; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 4 from 5-7 p.m. at James & Gahr
Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri.
Services were held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11 a.m. at James & Gahr
Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri with Pastor Dale Wands officiating.

Mary Camille Crouch
Mary Camille Crouch of St. Ann, Missouri was born on March 12, 1948 in Bonne
Terre, Missouri, to William Gordon and Mary (Lanham) Felty and passed away
March 16, 2011 at the age of 63 years and 4 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gordon and Mary Felty;
grandparents, John Roy and Alma (Knobbe) Felty; Thomas Elliott and
Clementine (DeClue) Lanham and her oldest son, Bryan Dean Hays.
She is survived by son, Danny Hays and wife Shelly; daughter, Amy Camille
Stewart; daughter-in-law, Gwendy Hays; sisters, Nancy Felty Dunn and
husband Richard, Julie Jill Felty Buchheit; brothers, Bill Felty and wife
Sandy, John Jack Felty and wife Ellen; grandchildren, Macey and Jesse Hays,
Aurora and Arianna Stewart, Whitney, Micah and Joshua Hays; great grandson,
Karsten; aunt, Thelma Golterman and husband Mickey; other relatives and
friends.
A memorial service was held to celebrate her life on Friday, May 6, 2011
at 1 p.m. at the Faith Community Church, St. Ann, Missouri 63074.

Rebecca Susan Jones
Rebecca Susan Jones of St. James, Missouri was born on August 25, 1981 to
Chester Joseph White and Rhonda Hanks and passed away April 30, 2011 in
St. James, Missouri at the age of 29 years, 8 months and 5 days.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Joseph White on
February 19, 2010; a baby girl Makayla; grandparents, Charles Sr., and
Evelyn Hanks and Velma and Howard White.
She is survived by her mother, Rhonda Hanks of St. James, Missouri; two
sons, Timothy Paul Rodrigue and Nathan Michael Jones of St. James, Missouri;
one brother, Stephen Paul White of Houma, Louisiana; two sisters, Bethany
Nicole White of Houma, Louisiana and Kirstin Kaas of Harvey, Louisiana;
other relatives and friends.
Visitation was at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the Jones Funeral Home
in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were conducted 11 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011 at the
Jones Funeral Home Chapel in St. James, Missouri with Mick Thrasher
officiating.
Burial was in the Steelville Cemetery.

Roscoe C. Maricle Sr.
Roscoe C. Maricle Sr. was born December 30, 1918 in De Soto, Iowa to
Charles Henry Maricle and Edith V. (Witham) Boren, and passed away
April 30, 2011 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in St. James, Missouri at
the age of 92 years.
Roscoe moved to Rolla in 1969 and was a long time member of the First
Presbyterian Church in Rolla. He was also a member of the Abu Ben Adhem
Shrine and the Licking Masonic Lodge.
Roscoe was active in the Ham Radio Operators Club for many years and
operated under the call letters KOYOI.
He proudly served his country during WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith; wife,
Shirley H. (Mower) Maricle; daughter, Evelyn Virginia Maricle; brother,
Wallace Wilson Maricle; sister, Virginia “Sis” Smith and grandson,
Timothy E. Davis.
He is survived by his daughters, Marjorie Sutphen and husband Bill of
Rolla, Missouri and Beverly R. Miller and husband Harry Lee of Hanover,
Pennsylvania; son, Roscoe Maricle Jr. of Rolla, Missouri; brothers,
Neil E. Maricle of St. James, Missouri and Delmar A. Maricle of Licking,
Missouri; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives
and friends.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Erma Lea Meintz
Erma Lea Meintz nee Trask of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Steelville,
Missouri, was born on March 18, 1921 in Huzzah, Missouri to George
Washington and Ethel McMillen Trask and passed away on Wednesday,
May 4, 2011 at the age of 90 years.
Erma married Edward A. Meintz on January 13, 1951 at the courthouse in
Clayton, Missouri.
Erma became a Christian early in life and was very active in church work.
She was a member of the West Page Baptist Church in Overland, Missouri and
Center Point Baptist Church, Steelville, Missouri where she was director of
the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) for several years. She later joined
Courtois Baptist Church. Her hobbies were quilting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ethel Meintz; husband,
Edward; brothers, Leslie Trask, Lynwood (Fay) Trask and Cordell (Beulah)
Trask; two infant brothers; two sisters, Madge and Francis Nethington.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Edward (Judy) Meintz of St. Louis,
Missouri, Steven Wayne (Viola) Meintz of Arnold, Missouri and Greg Lynn
Meintz of Berryman, Missouri; daughters, Dorothy Lea (Jerry) Kious of
Mulberry Grove, Illinois, Thelma Jean (Frank) Schaefer of Florrisant,
Missouri and Patricia Ann Meintz of St. James, Missouri; brother, Malcom
(Darlene) Trask of Afton, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grand-
children; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Monday, May 9, 2011 from 9-11 a.m. and funeral service at
11 a.m. at the Hoffmeister South County Chapel, St. Louis, Missouri with
Rev. Delmar Hutson officiating.
Burial at 12:45 p.m. at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery,
St. Louis, Missouri.

Caroline Renee Parlor
Caroline Renee Parlor nee Tomazi of Cuba, Missouri was born in St. Louis,
Missouri on Thursday, July 15, 1971 to Edward and Jane Frances Morris Tomazi
and passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the age of 39 years, 9 months
and 18 days.
Caroline graduated from Cuba High School in 1989.
She married Horace Daniel Parlor on July 22, 2000 in Orlando, Florida and
two daughters were born to this union.
She worked as an EMT in Polk Co., Florida for several years. She later worked
at the Golden Living Center in St. James, Missouri. Her hobbies were cooking,
baking cakes, sewing, camping, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and mother, Jane Tomazi.
She is survived by her husband Danny Parlor of Davenport, Florida; father,
Ed Tomazi of Cuba, Missouri; daughters, Leann and Sophia Parlor of Cuba,
Missouri; brothers, Brian Tomazi and Jason Tomazi, all of Cuba, Missouri;
sister, Sarah Tomazi and fiance Nate Howland of Columbia, Missouri; nephew,
Asher Harley of Columbia, Missouri; niece, Ava Davis of Cuba, Missouri; other
relatives and friends.
Visitation was Monday, May 9, 2011 from noon to 2 p.m. and the funeral
service was at 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Hutson Funeral Home, Cuba,
Missouri with Rev. Spencer Hutson officiating.
Burial was at the St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Rosati, Missouri.

Roberta Lynn “Bert” Phares
Roberta Lynn “Bert” Phares of Steelville, Missouri, passed away May 4, 2011
at Steelville, Missouri at the age 48 year.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Phares of Steelville, Missouri;
parents, Lloyd and Ruby Hedrick of East End, Missouri; mother-in-law, Grace
Bonnie Burg of Farmington, Missouri; two step-sons, Eric William Phares and
wife Kristina of Potosi, Missouri and Wade Matthew Phares and wife Valerie
of Park Hills, Missouri; one sister, Diana Colleen Edgar and husband Kelly
of East End, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jazmin Hope Phares of Farmington,
Missouri and Tyler Matthew Phares of Park Hills, Missouri; God daughter,
Aleya Pyeatt of Boss, Missouri; brother-in-law, James William Phares and
wife Rhonda of Potosi, Missouri; sisters-in-law, Sharon Cain and husband
Bill of Ironton, Missouri and Bonnie Stevens and husband Mike of
Farmington, Missouri; niece and nephew, Kelly Lynn and Christian Michael
Edgar; and special nephew, Jerry Wayne Bergner; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Friday, May 6, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. in the Wilson Mortuary
Viburnum Chapel.
Funeral service was Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Mortuary
Viburnum Chapel.
Interment was in the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery.

John A. “Jack” Reiner
John A. “Jack” Reiner was born March 14, 1929 to Michael and Ivy Reiner at
St. Clair, Missouri and passed away April 22, 2011 at Daniels Memorial
Health Center in Scobey, Montana at the age of 82 years.
When he was eight years old the family moved to their farm in Leasburg,
Missouri.
Jack graduated from Bourbon High School, Bourbon, Missouri in 1945. As a
graduation present his parents gave him a train ticket to Wolf Point. There
he met his uncle John and Aunt Margaret to work for them on their farm north
of Scobey, Montana.
He married Carmen Waller in 1948.
Jack graduated from the St. Louis College of Mortuary Science in 1955 and
began working at the Waller Funeral Home in Scobey, Montana.
Jack and Carmen bought the business in 1965 and ran it until 1992.
Baseball was one of his favorites, playing with his brothers in Missouri
and with the Scobey Plainsmen in the late 50’s and 60’s winning state titles.
He was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He was a member of the Starduster Band, a
music teacher, one of the founders of the Prairie Symphonette and he started
the Jack Reiner Big Band.
Jack was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He was
a member of the Gideons and served on many local boards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Ivy Reiner; brothers,
Bill and Ken Reiner; wife, Carmen and grandson, Paul.
He is survived by three sons, Mark (Jody) of Colorado Springs, Montana,
TR (Barb) of Williston, Montanan, John (Michele) of Kona, Hawaii; two
daughters, Patrice (Ron) Chatterton of Happy Valley, Oregon and Kris (Jon)
Baker of Scobey, Montana; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other
relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Scobey Lutheran with
Rev. Paul Landeraaen officiating. Music was provided by Carla Rask, Paul
Juel, Mark Erickson and Justan Baker.
Burial was in the Daniels County Cemetery.
James K. Riley
James K. Riley of Leasburg, Missouri was born on April 27, 1924 in
St. Louis, Missouri to James A. and Millie E. Paulcell Riley and passed
Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the age of 87 years.
James was an attorney in the St. Louis area for most of his working life.
He was preceded in death in 1997 by his wife, Marie; a daughter, Susan
Snyder and a granddaughter, Hannah Riley.
He is survived by one son, James Riley and wife Mary of Leasburg, Missouri;
one daughter, Janet Granda and husband Mark of Cedar Hill, Missouri; one
sister, Joan Hablitso; 10 grandchildren, Crystal, Mark and Jennifer Granda,
David, Joel and Mark Snyder and Mark, Michael, James and David Riley; other
relatives and friends.
Graveside services were conducted on May 4, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park in
Affton, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan,
Missouri.
Bernetta Fae Stump
Bernetta Fae Stump nee Triplett of Steelville, Missouri formerly of
Warrensburg, Missouri was born on Sunday, July 13, 1919 to James Elmo and
Ethel (Davis) Triplett and passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Gibbs Care
Center, Steelville, Missouri at the age of 91 years.
Bernetta married George William Stump on October 19, 1939 in Valley City,
Missouri and to this union two daughters were born.
Bernetta lived in Warrensburg, Missouri most of her life, then in her later
years, she spent many winters in Florida and Arizona. In 2006, they located
to Steelville, Missouri to be close to children and families. She was a member
of the First Christian Church, Warrensburg Garden Club, and other clubs for
many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Triplett; husband,
George on March 5, 2007 and brother, Elmo Triplett.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Sue (Clinton) Feemster and Betty Kay
(Michael) Mayberry, all of Steelville, Missouri; grandchildren, Tana (Brent)
Booker of Cook Station, Missouri, Troy Curnett of San Diego, California,
Robin (Michael) Hickman of DeSoto, Missouri, Todd Davidson of Tucson,
Arizona, Christie (Lonnie) Wilson of Yorktown, Virginia, Amber (Chad) Silvey
of Simpsonville, South Carolina; great grandchildren, Joshua Booker, Nathan
Booker, Kal Hickman, Tyler Hickman and Cody Wilson; step grandchildren,
Edward Feemster, Shelby Feemster-Moody and Pamela Feemster; other relatives
and friends.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Hutson
Funeral Home, Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Williams Funeral Chapel
in Warrensburg, Missouri with visitation at 1 p.m. with Bro. Alan Miles
officiating.
Burial at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Warrensburg, Missouri.

Missouri.
